Church Life Updates Easter Missions Offering: The Easter Missions Offering allows Calvary to share the gospel with the world. You can designate your gift to Andy & Cari Robertson (Calvary s missionaries to Chad), the Annie Armstrong Offering (SBC), or the Global Missions Offering (CBF). Heading into this weekend, we have exceeded our $3,000 goal by $373. Thank you for putting us over the top! Did You Give to Shoes that Grow? Calvary s Mission Team would like to repurpose extra donations from last year s Shoes the Grow project to support a Feed the Hunger Packathon later this year. If you gave to Shoes that Grow and DO NOT want your extra gifts to be used for the Packathon, please call the church office by the end of April to get your gift back or to redirect it for some other use. Youth Port-a-Pit Fundraiser: Our Port-a-Pit Chicken Fundraiser in support of youth missions will take place on Friday, May 3. Tickets are $10 each and are available before and after worship in the sanctuary lobby. We are eagerly recruiting volunteers who can help pack and serve our lunch deliveries between 9 AM and 2 PM. To learn more or to sign up, please talk to Alex Bracey. Summer Choir The Sanctuary Choir will be rehearsing on Wednesday nights at 6:15 p.m. beginning April 17. If you would like to be part of the choir, no previous experience is necessary! Consider joining us for the summer help us make a joyful noise! A New Calvary Directory: We re preparing to produce a new (and much-needed) church directory. But rather than making you schedule a photo session and sit through a sales pitch, we re filling this directory with casual family snapshots. Photos will be taken at several locations around the church on Sunday, April 28; Sunday, May 5; and Sunday, May 12. Please plan to drop-in and get your photo taken as you come and go to Sunday School and worship. And please complete a Directory Information Card and drop it off at the church. You re Invited: The families of Hannah Vaughn and Cody Slate are sponsoring a wedding shower in the fellowship hall on Saturday, May 4, from 2 to 5 PM. The couple is registered at Belk and Walmart.
