A bit of Bob Brother Bob Rush, Pastor Come and Fellowship With Us 9 AM BREAKFAST 9:30 Sunday School 10:30 Worship/ Business Meeting 2nd Sunday Following pm service WELL, WE ARE STARTING A NEW YEAR AND AL- READY I FEEL LIKE I AM BEHIND! And I really am as Rose has reminded me that I am late with this article for the Newsletter. I am in overdrive to get this to her so I will only be two days late. However, that will not remove the fact that I am still late. By the way, THANKS,Rose for always keeping us who write articles on our toes to get the news to you on time. But we [I] still fail sometimes and have to be prodded to write. That reminds me that there are many who put off making a decision for our Lord Jesus. I fear that some will wait until it is too late and they will spend an eternity thinking about the many times they felt God calling them to salvation, but did not respond. My prayer is that if you are one who is waiting, you will not wait until there is no hope for you. If the tug of the Holy Spirit is pulling you to Him, do it now. There will never be a better time. LET ME ALSO GIVE A BIG THANK YOU FOR SEVERAL BLESSINGS WHICH THE RUSH FAMILY HAS AND IS ENJOYING!!!!! First, for the Christmas Gift you gave to us. It was very much appreciated and we thank you. Secondly, for the loving offering which went a long way toward the airline tickets that gave us the opportunity to be with Sam during her cancer surgery. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! Thirdly, for your prayers and love shown and given to Sam during this difficult time of her life. And for your continued prayers for her over the next 12 months as she goes through the chemo treatments. And fourthly, for your support of the Mooresville Baptist Church. God is doing a great work among us and He is using you and me to spread the Word of His love. SEE YOU SUNDAY Love, Brother Bob

And then...there s Gordon We are in a new year and getting close to singing time again. Since the homecoming worked out so well last year, we will do our 4th singing for the year on September 30 at our homecoming and that's almost the 4th quarter so that will count for our final singing for the year. But lets now back up to our other 3, since the Saturday night crowds were not as good and we had hoped for we are going back to the original plan of the last Sunday night in March, last Sunday night in June and the last Sunday night in August. We have something planned that I think you will enjoy for the March singing, and will involve a piano player that you are familiar with, I should know by the next newsletter if this will work out or not. Will also let you know next month who will be here for the other singings this year. Short by sweet, more next time, until then Keep Smiling More next time, until then Keep Smiling Gordon Meador (931) 334-1891
