You are invited to participate in the Church Challenge Bethel Home and Services Foundation Annual Golf Outing Viroqua Hills Golf Course Monday, August 15th, 2011 Shotgun Start at 1 p.m. Not only is the golf outing an enjoyable day with good fellowship, golf and food but it raises funds for resident needs. With the help of last year s participants and sponsors we raised over $14,100 to purchase equipment for the residents at Bethel Home and Maplewood Terrace Assisted Living Apartments. Last year eight teams took the challenge and St. Mary s Catholic Church in Viroqua landed the winning score of 53. In addition to adding their name to the trophy, Bethel donated $100 to Bethel Butikk Food Pantry in honor of St. Mary s. Now is the time to challenge St. Mary s for the 2011 title. We encourage each congregation to come up with one or more teams consisting of four golfers which will include at least two congregation members per team. Each team takes the best ball to come up with one score for the team. Please come to the church office (8:30am11:30am Monday-Friday or Sunday mornings) and signup for our team.
