December 2, 2018 Welcome and Announcements Prelude A Service of Lessons and Carols 1 st Sunday of Advent GATHER IN GOD S NAME 10:15 AM On the first Sunday of each month we take a special offering to help others and alleviate hunger. If you would like to participate please come forward during the prelude and place your donation in the basket at the front. This month s offering is designated to the PC[USA] Joy Gift Offering. This offering is used to provide opportunities for education and to fund the Assistance Program of the Board of Pensions. The nine Scripture lessons are those traditionally used at the festival, while carols and special music accompany each passage.

We hope with your participation to make the sanctuary, entrances, and all of the church as pleasing as possible to ring in the Christmastide. Evening Meal Team: Prepare hearty home cooked meal (to be served around 6:00 PM.). Share the meal with guests, and clean kitchen. Breakfast: Provide frozen breakfast sandwiches or other easy warm breakfast options. Items should be delivered on Saturday. Sunday Morning Clean-up: Clean and return bed pads and pillows to storage, clean and setup class rooms used for sleeping quarters. Clean guest bathrooms and check TV (youth room).
