Wednesday, April 10, 2019 You can also view current information on our website www.trentoncrossingchurch.com From Geoffrey's Desk... I was away this past Sunday preaching for the Meadowbrook Church of Christ in Jackson, Mississippi. My youngest sister, Sarah, is a part of that church, and my middle sister, as well as Joanna, was able to travel there as well. In addition to having some family time, Sarah and I both have birthdays in April, so we were able to celebrate together. The church there was very gracious, and I enjoyed my time with them. I was sorry to miss the men s retreat, but I have heard many good things about the weekend. I

know that the time spent was uplifting for everyone who was involved. Thanks goes to Ken Roberts for coordinating that special event. I also want to thank Andrew Pate for speaking this past Sunday and sharing information about his work with Healing Hands and the M.A.G.I. Box project. This is yet another opportunity in which we can be involved with reaching out to others in the name of Jesus. I encourage you to scroll down through this Messenger. Actually, I hope you do that each week. We have a number of events scheduled and opportunities ahead. Let me highlight three. First of all, all graduating seniors (high school and college) are encourage to submit photos and info no later than this Sunday. Secondly, there is a call out for candy or treat-filled plastic eggs for our Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday, April 21. You may place those in the collection tub near the Welcome Center. Men's Ministry Movie Night Tuesday, April 30, 7pm Our Men's Ministry has planned a movie night to see "Kingdom Men Rising: No More Excuses." The movie is a documentary film exploring what it means to be a real man in the midst of cultural trends in which there is confusion about masculinity. The film wrestles honestly with the unique questions and circumstances men face today. Matters of addiction, sex, race and passivity are addressed from a biblical perspective. "Kingdom Men Rising" takes a journey that challenges men to rise above what we have become to lives of no more sitting on the sidelines, no more passivity, and no more excuses. We will see the movie at the Regal Cinema on Tiny Town Rd. on Tuesday, April 30, at 7pm. A sign-up sheet is on the Sign-Up Table in the Worship Center.
