Discipling Growing in our Relationship with Jesus AMC CONGREGATIONAL ASSESSMENT Due TODAY! The Congregational Assessments are due today. Please read the cover letter and return both sheets to the box in the foyer. Extra forms are available on the table in the foyer. ~MTCRC WMSC Guest Sewing Day DAY OF DISCERNMENT This Saturday THE STORY Christmas Music Tour WMSC will host a Guest Sewing Day on Thursday, Nov. 1st and are inviting ladies to come and quilt with them. The Illinois Mennonite Conference is holding it s annual Day of Discernment this Saturday, Nov. 3rd in Markham, IL. This is a time of gathering as IMC to fellowship, pray, and study God s Word. This years theme is Christ is Lord! Glen Rhodes is planning on attending. If you would like to go, please talk to Glen as soon as possible. There is no cost. The Story Tour, a special Christmas celebration is coming to the Assembly Hall Friday, Nov. 30th at 7 pm. We would like to have a good group attend this together in the church van and other vehicles if needed. Group cost is $24 a ticket if we have 15 or more people. Sign up on the C.L. board and join us for this special musical journey from Genesis to Revelation which includes a full choir, orchestra, and many well known Christian artists. KEEPING UP WITH AMC Levi & Gloria Yoder hosted a wedding at their barn last weekend. The Kuhns families will be traveling to PA next weekend for a wedding. Please join us as we lift up our community, state, and country during this fall season. Meet at the Methodist church at 1:45. More information is on the Community Life Board. CROSSROADS Today PATHFINDERS Today Crossroads will have a Minute to Win It tournament today in the fellowship hall at 4 p.m. Sandwiches and drinks will be provided. Outreach Our Relationships with the World MISSIONARIES VISIT Today PARTNERS IN PRAISE Choir Practice MCC RELIEF KITS Kits Due By Nov. 4th Today we welcome AMC supported missionaries Wayne and Lois Hochstetler. They will be sharing during a 9:30 am combined Christian Ed. time in the fellowship hall and also during the morning worship celebration. Adult choir practice for the Nov. 18th Partners in Praise will be Oct. 31st, Nov. 7th and Nov. 14th at 7:00 pm at Vine Street Christian Church. There is no children s choir planned at this time. Mennonite Central Committee is in urgent need of relief health kits to send to war torn countries around the world, specifically for the people of Syria right now. Please bring items and place them in the tub in the foyer. MCC will put them in 5 gallon buckets to send out. The list of items is on the box in the foyer and in past bulletins.
