The Church Office will be closing at noon this Wednesday, and closed Thursday and Friday for the Thanksgiving holiday. Redeemer Lutheran School will be closed Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. STEWARDSHIP COMMITMENT THIS WEEKEND At the beginning of each worship service this weekend, Commitment forms will be collected. Extra commitment forms and privacy envelopes are at the Welcome Center.

ALTAR FLOWERS This weekend s altar flowers are given by Joyce Irish in thankfulness for all of God s blessings. THANKSGIVING EVE WORSHIP THIS WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 23-7:00 PM Please mark your calendar for Thanksgiving Eve Worship this Wednesday, November 23 at 7:00 PM. This weekend during all 3 services, we will take up a can collection at the altar. We ask everyone worshiping from the youngest to the oldest to bring a single can of food so every member can share what the Lord has provided us with this year. What a great gift we will share with the Rescue Mission. The Thanksgiving offering benefits Lutheran World Relief. HOLY BAPTISM During Sunday s 10:45 AM service, Aubrey Faith Tacheny, daughter of Jeff & Melissa Tacheny will receive the Sacrament of Holy Baptism. WELCOME NEW MEMBERS During Sunday s 10:45 AM service, we welcome the following new members and families to Our Redeemer. Joining by Adult Confirmation are Andrew Jorgensen, Larry Meese, Joshua Mugg and Sharon Mugg with children Corin and Madeline Mugg, Jay Vandeburg and Ben Vandeburg. Jennifer Vandeburg is joining by Reaffirmation of Faith. Joshua and Samuel Vandeburg join with their parents and older brother Ben. We warmly welcome all these souls into our church family. HAITI RELIEF FUND UPDATE Thank You! Thank you for your generosity! Two Thousand and Thirty-Three Dollars ($ 2,033) were collected last week to help the Jeremie District of Haiti recover from Hurricane Matthew. Your gifts will fully allow one and part of a second secure food storage and distribution center to be constructed to help feed local school children. If you missed last week s services, or would like to supplement your earlier gift, a door collection will again be held this weekend. With your help, perhaps we will be able to fund the construction of two complete pantry sites. Also, Florence Moeller was stirred by the need of the Haitian people for garden seeds. She is aware of and is in the process of procuring seeds for a species of rapidly maturing turnips. In as little as thirty-five to forty days, a crop of turnips is available that is tasty when eaten raw or cooked, suitable for short term storage, and offers edible greens as well. If interested, touch base with her to ask if there is a way to be of help. Any time Haiti comes to your mind, please also offer your prayers for our Haitian brothers and sisters in Christ as they mourn the loved ones they lost and now strive to rebuild their personal housing and lives. BREATHE by RLS Principal Ruth Lavrenz Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Psalm 150:6 THANKSGIVING BREAK: Redeemer will go on Thanksgiving break next Tuesday with a 2:00 PM dismissal. We will start up again on Monday, November 28. SCRIP Tomorrow is the last day to order SCRIP cards before Thanksgiving break!! Why not earn some money for your TADS account while grocery shopping or purchasing gas for the holiday? Order forms are available for print from the school website or outside the school office. Orders (with payment) are due in the grey box in the school foyer before 8:30 am on Monday. Cards will be available on Thursday. Cards can be sent home with your student or you may pick them up from Michelle as she sells inventory on Thursday in the school foyer from 3:30-4:30 pm. As the week of Nov 21 st is only a short 2 day week, card orders made that Monday will not be available until the week of Nov 28 th.
