Everyone is asked to bring a breakfast dish. We will have a signup sheet in the Narthex so that there will be a variety of items. We will host our traditional Easter Egg Hunt at 11:30. We ask that you provide a dozen filled eggs for each child that you will have participating in the egg hunt. You can bring the eggs to the Supply Room (across from the restrooms) by Saturday March 24th. Please have your child bring either an Easter basket or a bag to put their collected eggs in! There is Sunday School on Palm Sunday. We invite you, your children, friends, and neighbors to join us on Good Friday, March 30th at 11:00 a.m. for a special Children s Good Friday Service. During this time, we will share the steps that Jesus took on his way to the cross and that the message of sadness was not the end of the story. Following the service, the children will do a craft project and share lunch together. We welcome children of all ages and look forward to sharing this important time with them. If possible, please RSVP through TeamSnap. Last minute attendees who have not RSVP d however, are most certainly welcome! Please note that there is no Sunday School on Easter Sunday, so that we may all worship with our families. P a g e 5 March 2018 I will have nothing to do with a God who cares only occasionally. I need a God who is with us always, everywhere, in the deepest depths as well as the highest heights. It is when things go wrong, when good things do not happen, when our prayers seem to have been lost, that God is most present. We do not need the sheltering wings when things go smoothly. We are closest to God in the darkness, stumbling along blindly.
