AIMS Training Seminars and Presentations EQUIPPING FOR THE HARVEST (EFTH) TRAINING CURRICULIM Below are two seminars (Harvest Connection and Networking Methodology) and one presentation (Faith Promise Giving) included in the Equipping for the Harvest trainings overseas. Harvest Connection Two versions: One DVD for the US One PPT for overseas and the US AIMS' premier seminar highlighting the spiritual state of our world, the Biblical basis for missions and a detailed teaching of the steps necessary to mobilize a church for missions to the UPGs of the world. 6-8 hours Electronic and/or Hard Copy Arabic, Armenian, Mandarin Chinese, French, Indonesian, Romanian, Russian, Spanish, Urdu, Hindi, Ethiopian, Telagu, Swahili, Amharic, Portuguese Faith Promise Giving Inspiration and guidance on how to train your people to hear from God so they might become channels of God's financial provision for missions to UPGs. 1-4 hours Chinese, Romanian, Russian, Spanish, Urdu Networking Methodology Practical how to information which guides leaders in how to form working partnerships that focus on sending missionaries to specific UPGs. 4-6 hours Chinese, Indonesian, Russian, Spanish, Hindi, Ethiopian, Urdu, Romanian SEMINARS Seminars are a thematic, training series with specific end goals that include media and small group work, and a "power lunch" (if possible) for strategic planning. All the following seminars are prepared in English and available in electronic translation. Final Focus Healthy Churches in a Sick World Missions Smarter On the Cutting Edge Biblical Stewardship Business as Mission HIV AIDS Seminar A step by step seminar explaining how a church can research, choose and adopt a UPG in order to institute church planting movements among them. Training that enables church leaders to assess the spiritual health of their church in relation to Jesus' mandate to disciple the nations. Contains diagnostic tools for measuring the health of your church along with steps to promote the church's spiritual health. This seminar trains churches to do missions SMARTer. It presents Strategy, Mobilization, Advancement, Resources and Training in a way that helps churches organize themselves for successful mission s ministry. A seminar that presents a step by step process that guides church leadership to create an effective missions policy for the local church. Teaching on how the good stewardship of our lives, relationships, time and resources can dramatically impact mobilizing the resources necessary for completing the Great Commission. Explores the biblical model for business and how business provides a platform for effective ministry. Students also learn how to financially and strategically analyze the business potential of opportunities in their midst. (From an AIMS partner, Harvest Field Corners. ) A seminar that explores the basic nature, cause and prevention of this deadly disease. The seminar contains extensive small group work and is extremely practical in its focus and outcome. Missionary Preparation In the Local Church Planning Strategies for World Evangelism Strategic Power Shifts in Missions Security Seminar Seminar designed to help pastors and elders effectively prepare missionary candidates in their churches for full-time, crosscultural missions. Strategic insights that lead a church and missionaries in how to develop effective strategies for doing cross-cultural work with UPGs. This seminar outlines 5 important power shifts that if instituted will launch local churches into completing the Great Commission. These power shifts are Attitude, Actions, Alignment, Abundance and Anointing. Emphasizes the basic issues faced by missionaries who are residing or visiting countries that are hostile to the free proclamation of the gospel. Envisions churches to work with others in order to complete the Great Commission. A review of one of the most revolutionary model of missions in the world today. Equipping for the Harvest (Overview) Missions Foundations Reliance on God versus Dependency on Foreign Resources Strategic Sending World Religions Introduction Why are We Here? Exponential Church Planting A Vision for Closure AIMS training for leaders on how to form functioning partnerships that adopt and engage specific unreached people groups. A teaching that gives a brief history of world missions and introduces the fundamentals of world evangelization. It is a wonderful introduction for churches new to missions. (Also comes in a 13 week course format.) An exploration of the contrast between mission practices that create dependency in those who receive the gospel, and those that promote a healthy reliance on God to provide all the resources necessary for ministry. It also covers how to avoid negative practices and how to help nationals get free from dependency on man. Training on the strategies of both Jesus and Paul in sending out missionaries to disciple the nations. Finishes with a review on how to apply these strategies today. Companion to "Planning Strategies." An overview to introduce basic understanding of Buddhism, Hinduism, Animist, and Islam. A challenge to align our vision and methods with God's Purpose, vision, strategy and methodologies. Church planting beyond church planting movements: methodologies for rapid, even exponential church planting.
