The Lord s Prayer Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. The priest alone continues, saying: Deliver us, Lord, we pray from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Saviour, Jesus Christ. The Peace For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and for ever. The peace of the Lord be with you always. And with your spirit. Let us offer each other the sign of peace. We exchange a sign of peace with those around us by shaking hands, embracing, smiling - whatever you are most comfortable with. LAMB OF GOD Lamb of God you take a - way the sins of the v.1 & 2 world, have mer - cy on us. v.3 world, grant us peace, grant us peace. Behold the Lamb of God, behold him who takes away the sins of the world. Blessed are those called to the supper of the Lamb. Lord, I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof but only say the word and my soul shall be healed. If you do not receive Holy Communion, you are very welcome to come forward for a blessing.
During communion Aria composed by David Coram will be played by John Powell followed by Mozart s Ave Verum Corpus which will be sung by members of the St John Singers. PRAYER AFTER COMMUNION God, who have willed that we be partakers in the one Bread and the one Chalice, grant us, we pray, so to live that, made one in Christ, we may joyfully bear fruit for the salvation of the world. Through Christ our Lord. Amen The Lord Bless and Keep You by John Rutter will be sung by members of St John Singers FINAL BLESSING After the final blessing: ALL Go in peace, glorifying the Lord by your life. Thanks be to God. Thine be the glory, risen conquering Son, endless is the victory thou o'er death hast won; angels in bright raiment rolled the stone away, kept the folded grave-clothes, where thy body lay. Thine be the glory, risen, conquering Son, endless is the victory thou o'er death hast won. Lo, Jesus meets us risen from the tomb; lovingly he greets us, scatters fear and gloom; let the church with gladness hymns of triumph sing, for her Lord is living, death has lost its sting. No more we doubt thee, glorious Prince of life; life is nought without thee; aid us in our strife; make us more than conquerors, through thy deathless love; bring us safe through Jordan to thy home above. Immediately following this Mass refreshments will be served in our Parish Rooms (next door). Everyone is welcome.
