The Introducty Rites As the priest and other ministers approach the altar with reverence, we all sing the entrance song. After the priest kisses the altar, he greets the assembly. Greeting In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. The grace of our Ld Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Ld Jesus Christ. The Ld be with you. And with your spirit. 3 1.
Penitential Act We know we have sinned, so the priest invites us to ask God f fgiveness in one of the following ways: Ld, have mercy. Ld, have mercy. Christ, have mercy. Christ, have mercy. Ld, have mercy. Ld, have mercy. Have mercy on us, O Ld. F we have sinned against you. Show us, O Ld, your mercy. And grant us your salvation. I confess to almighty God and to you, my brothers and sisters, that I have greatly sinned in my thoughts and in my wds, in what I have done and in what I have failed to do, through my fault, through my fault, through my most grievous fault; therefe I ask blessed Mary ever-virgin, all the Angels and Saints, and you, my brothers and sisters, to pray f me to the Ld our God. 2. May almighty God have mercy on us, fgive us our sins, and bring us to everlasting life. 4
