Abundant Life Tres Dias ALTD News November 2009 De Colores Dear Tres Dias Community, FROM OUR SPIRITUAL DIRECTOR I celebrate all of the new pescadores the weekends #21 have brought us and all of the members of the team who served so well under Rector Phil and Rectora Linda. This was the first ALTD weekend where I was unable to serve as more than a prayer warrior due to Cheryl's back surgery, pneumonia, and respiratory collapse. We cannot speak well enough of all of the love, cards, visits and most of all--prayers! You are our extended family. Cheryl has come far from the days in University of Wisconsin's ICU in a coma on a ventilator, through the Intermediate Care Unit, through 6 weeks at the Select Specialty Hospital in Madison, which specializes in respiratory interventions. On Monday, October 26, Cheryl was transferred to Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Room 17, 1201 First Ave., Mendota, IL 61342. She is close to home, doing more and more beginning physical therapy routines, eating regular food, and no IV's in her arms. We still have much to do before we can bring her home and ultimately back to work, but we are hopeful and trust our God and the prayers of our friends. Thank you. As she is nearer to home I hope to be more involved for Erica and David as we move on to Weekends #22. Lett us all begin now to pray about those we can lead to become candidates. May God bless you all. Dr. Dyke and Cheryl Team Applications are due to Tanya Muzzarelli with a pastor's signature and payment.

We are currently looking for volunteers to help prepare for this event and to help out during the event. All the community is invited to attend. We will have a joint secuela the evening of March 12th. The Membership Committee will conduct a Tres Dias Essentials Training and Trainer Certification class Saturday evening. The meeting itself takes place Saturday during the day and Sunday morning. Keep looking for more information in the newsletter. If you would like to help out. Please contact me: Paul Weis, President, Tres Dias International president@tresdias.org 815-636-0840 Dear Brothers: Another Opportunity to Serve The Tres Dias Community in Germany is about to have their men s weekend this month and our looking for people to sign up to pray on their weekend. This is an English speaking community. They are in the early stages of sponsoring a new community in Denmark and are bringing in candidates from there.

FROM OUR WEEKEND # 22 RECTOR Greetings and blessings to the ALTD community: It is both an honor and a very humbling experience being asked to lead God's team for the 22nd ALTD men's weekend. It is also an exciting time as I realize how many lives have already been transformed by their weekend experience. I look forward to working with Mike Anderson, my head cha, and many of you on team to bring another mountain top experience to our spring group of pescadores. If you would like to serve on #22, please download a team application from our ALTD web site http://home.comcast.net/~altdnews/site/ and submit it to Tanya Muzzarelli, our ALTD pre-weekend chairman, as directed on the application. Please be aware that scholarship are available for candidates, but it is the responsibility of each team member to pay the $135 team fee. Once team affirmations are received from the Secretariat, I will begin calling and assembling Team 22. The spring men's weekend will again be held at Bishop's Lane Retreat Center from May 13-16, 2010. Team training dates have not yet been formalized, but there will be four trainings leading up to the weekend about every other week. Stay tuned for more specifics. May God continue to bless each of you and your families, Dave Borgetti Rector - ALTD #22 FROM OUR WEEKEND # 22 RECTORA "Greetings and God Bless to our Brothers and Sisters in Christ! Thanks be to God for another opportunity to serve Him in the Tres Dias community and thanks to all of you for your prayers and support as we prepare for ALTD #22. It is such a blessing to know that many of you are already excited to serve! Please don't hesitate to fill out a team application and turn it into Tanya Muzzarelli if God has laid it on your heart to do so. You are also welcomed and encouraged to seek potential candidates that God puts in your path... and to pray for those that are being prepared to receive a wonderful weekend of God's love and grace. The women's weekend verse is Hebrews 11:1: "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." (KJV). We serve a mighty God that we can not see, but we know is real and alive because He lives in us and manifests Himself through us in our faith. It is by faith... their own faith... that New Testament believers found healing through Jesus - the blind could see, the lame could walk, the infirmed were healed... and it is by that same faith that we carry out His mission each day. Let us continue to walk by faith and not by sight! God has blessed ALTD #22 women's weekend with an amazing Head Cha, Anita Rogers! Please pray for her, myself and the rest of God's teams (men's too!)! ALTD #22 Rectora, Erica Herdey"
