New Hope Littles Director & Church Bookkeeper Meg Sanders is the new Hope Littles (nursery age - 3 years) Director and last month the Consistory appointed Karen Schaap to be our new Church Bookkeeper. We are grateful for Karen s willingness to use her expertise in helping us to keep our financial affairs in order. These are two very vital roles and we are so thrilled to have these wonderful ladies who feel called to those ministries filling those roles! Praise God! Easter flower sales TODAY is the last day to purchase Easter flowers! You can choose from lilies, tulips, hyacinths, and daffodils. Flowers are $7. There is no choice in colors. Plants will be available to take home on Easter Sunday after worship! EASTER SUNDAY SOCIAL To kick-off our morning on April 21, we re having an Easter Sunday Social at 9:15 a.m. in the fellowship hall! We ll have a light breakfast (donuts, bagels, juice, and coffee) as well as an Easter -themed photo booth! This will be the perfect place to take your family pictures for Easter morning! You ll even get a FREE copy of your picture, ready for pickup on April 28. We hope that you can come! Bring a friend! Vacation Pastor Kevin and Meg are on vacation this Wednesday, April 10 - Monday, April 15. Please contact the church office or Pastor Dan while Pastor Kevin is away! NEXT Midweek Mix: April 10 Italian Night! High School age and adults will meet in the worship center to hear from Scott Poehlman on his recent trip to Bahrain. 6

Ruth Circle Ruth Circle will meet Tuesday, April 9 at 1 p.m. at the Moore s. They will be discussing chapter 6. New members are always welcome! young at Heart Young at Heart will be going to Our Table Restaurant on Tuesday, April 16 at 9:30 a.m. Sign up at the lobby table to attend! Dine with Nine We are hoping to start another round of Dine with Nine dinners soon! If you would be willing to host one, please let Allison know! 2nd Quarter Mission Our 2nd quarter mission opportunity will be the National Evangelical Church in Bahrain. This will be collected on May 19. Money collected will go to improvements to the church building. Bethany Guild Geranium sale The annual geranium sale for Bethany Christian Services is almost here! Plants come from cuttings in a 4 1/2 pot, and they come in pink, red, white, and salmon. They are $3.75. They also offer hanging baskets and pots at $18.00 each. The sign-up sheet is on the lobby table, and the sale is May 8 at the Westwood Fire Station from 2-7 p.m. We want your pictures! If you took a cool picture at church for worship or another event recently, we d love to include it in our announcements and social media! You can send pictures to Allison in the office with a brief description (office@hoperca.org). If you don t have any pictures, consider this your invite to start taking some! Thank you! Morning Glory Our next Morning Glory Service will be on Sunday, April 28th at 9:10 a.m. It is a week later this month due to Easter. 7
