Peacemakers And Troublemakers LEADER S GUIDE Lesson Overview Today, we re going to talk about peace! Peace means you can get along with everyone. We call that kind of person a peacemaker. The opposite of a peacemaker is a troublemaker. This is the person who is always causing trouble, hurting people s feelings, and not obeying teachers or parents. We should stay away from troublemakers and we should never be the troublemaker. Did you know that Jesus is the ultimate peacemaker? He is and here s why. He came to die to pay for our sins that had broken our relationship with God. His sacrifice fixed our sin problem and makes us friends with God! That s why peace is a popular word at Christmas time. Christmas is all about the moment Jesus came to start his mission to make peace with the world. Classroom Agenda Big Idea Jesus came to be a peacemaker Key Question What did Jesus do to make peace?
