Bible Study Opportunities New Adult Bible Study-Sunday Morning-Emmaus Room This year is the 500 th Anniversary of the Reformation and celebrates the year Martin Luther nailed his Ninety-Five Theses to the Church door in Wittenberg, Germany. In truth, Luther had no intention of dividing the Church. Luther believed that the Gospel had been bound and the consciences of the people were suffering. Martin Luther worked to free the Gospel and correct false doctrines. We will see how the Church of that time had gotten off course and how the false doctrines crept into the Church. We will be using a video series provided by Lutheran Hour Ministries. Come join the Adult Bible Study in the Emmaus Room beginning on July 30. New Adult Bible Study Sunday Morning Adult Room #1 Every thought you have creates or reinforces already-created negative or positive beliefs in your heart. These beliefs are the main controllers of our thoughts, words, and actions, which in turn form our emotions. The key to having a high-quality life is to create beliefs within your heart that control your behavior. In this interactive 12-week study Dr. Gary Smalley presents how-to steps, engaging questions, practical exercises, and fun activities to help the whole family memorize and meditate on key Scriptures. Led by Cindy Sigmon Sundays - 9:15am: Emmaus Room Reformation 500 Led by Mark Moretz Youth Central Bible Study - Pre-Teens, Jr. Youth and Sr. Youth led by the Youth Ministry Team Adult Room #1 Guarding Your Child s Heart By Gary Smalley - Led by Cindy Sigmon BLCFM Andy Stanley Weekday Small Group Bible Studies: Wednesdays: 7am Ladies Bible Study Led by Kim Hauser. Communion: In the Lord s Supper, Jesus offers the faithful His true body and blood to eat and drink. These words, Given and shed for you for the forgiveness of sins, show us that in the Sacrament forgiveness of sins, life, and salvation are given us through these words. These words, along with the bodily eating and drinking, are the main thing in the Sacrament. Anyone who has questions is invited to speak to the pastor or elder before communing. The cups in the center of the tray are filled with a white non-alcoholic wine and gluten free wafers are available for those with allergies.
