BAPTISM! Henry David Cauthon, shown here with his proud parents, Allyson and Jeff Cauthon, was baptized on Mother s Day Sunday in the early worship service. Henry turned one year old on May 8th. THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD MISSION JOURNEY TEAM EXPERIENCING GOD IN NEW WAYS AT MANNFORD This Saturday, May 18th, will be our first Saturday to serve a family in Mannford by putting skirting around their trailer home, cleaning up, and hanging a door. Eight of us will meet at New Haven at 7am and return around 5:30 pm. We don t know yet what our task will be on Saturday, May 25, but we must always remember to be flexible! The tasks, because of the importance of the need, might change a couple of days before we go to Mannford. We now have 13 New Haven family members who will serve on the 25th. Please pray for us, your teams, as we prepare to be in fellowship with the families and with each other through Jesus Christ. God s Speed, Adriaan A Sunday School teacher decided to have her young class memorize one of the most quoted passages in the Bible - Psalm 23. She gave the youngsters a month to learn the chapter. Little Rick was excited about the task - but he just couldn't remember the Psalm. After much practice, he could barely get past the first line. On the day that the kids were scheduled to recite Psalm 23 in front of the congregation, Ricky was so nervous. When it was his turn, he stepped up to the microphone and said proudly, "The Lord is my Shepherd, and that's all I need to know. ~ Our own New Haven children will present Psalm 23 in worship on May 19th! Come, be blessed!
