And all the people answered, "His blood be on us and on our children!" Then he released for them Barabbas, and having scourged Jesus, delivered him to be crucified. Let us pray for the development of the sciences, such as biology and genetics, so that they are developed to protect and preserve human life and not to destroy it, and that the scientists do not experiment with bodies of unborn children in order to develop medicines. - Glory Be, and the Fatima prayer The Third Sorrowful Mystery: The Crown of Thorns Then the soldiers of the governor took Jesus into the praetorium, and they gathered the whole battalion before him. And they stripped him and put a scarlet robe upon him, and plaiting a crown of thorns they put it on his head, and put a reed in his right hand. The Second Glorious Mystery: The Ascension into Heaven Afterward he appeared to the eleven themselves as they sat at table; and he upbraided them for their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they had not believed those who saw him after he had risen. And he said to them, "Go into the entire world and preach the gospel to the whole creation. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover." The Third Glorious Mystery: The Coming of the Holy Spirit When the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one place. And suddenly a sound came from heaven like the rush of a mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared to them tongues as of fire, distributed and resting on each one of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. Let us pray for the good doctors and their staff who help pregnant women and for those who help with the preservation of life. Let us pray for the conversion of those who do not value life. And we ask that all medical personnel respect the Hippocratic Oath which prohibits abortion and euthanasia. The Fourth Glorious Mystery: The Assumption of Mary And Mary said, "My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for he has regarded the low estate of his handmaiden.
