Priests for Life Call to Prayer to End Abortion Priests for Life invites every Christian to say the following prayer each day for an end to abortion. The prayer emphasizes the responsibility of each person to cooperate with the Lord in protecting life, and therefore is a prayer of commitment. After the prayer is an opportunity to sign up with this campaign, to indicate that you are going to say the prayer each day, and also to pledge other forms of prayer you can offer for an end to abortion. Prayer to End Abortion Lord God, I thank you today for the gift of my life, And for the lives of all my brothers and sisters. I know there is nothing that destroys more life than abortion, Yet I rejoice that you have conquered death by the Resurrection of Your Son. I am ready to do my part in ending abortion. Today I commit myself Never to be silent, Never to be passive, Never to be forgetful of the unborn. I commit myself to be active in the pro-life movement, And never to stop defending life Until all my brothers and sisters are protected, And our nation once again becomes A nation with liberty and justice Not just for some, but for all, Through Christ our Lord. Amen! Priests for Life PO Box 141172 Staten Island, NY 10314 Tel. 888-PFL-3448, (718) 980-4400 Fax 718-980-6515 Email mail@priestsforlife.org

www.unbornjesus.com Prayers to the Holy Trinity a. Prayer to God the Father for the Intentions All: Glory and praise to you, Lord God, our Creator. We are here to glorify Your Divine Son present in the Womb of His Holy Mother Mary. We ask you to accept this hour of reparation we offer to you through the Immaculate Heart of Mary in atonement for the great evil which takes place within the abortion buildings located throughout our nation and the world. Bring an end to the slaughtering of our unborn brothers and sisters who are Your sons and daughters, created in Your image and likeness. Convert and heal the hearts of those who have had abortions or who have performed them. Have mercy on us all. Open the eyes of our people and leaders so the laws of our nation come to respect and protect all human life from the moment of conception to the moment of natural death. b. Prayer to God the Son for our Culture Leader: In many and various ways God spoke of old to our fathers by the prophets, but in these last days he has spoken to us by a Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world. He reflects the glory of God and bears the very stamp of his nature, upholding the universe by his word of power. When he had made purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become as much superior to angels as the name he has obtained is more excellent than theirs. For to what angel did God ever say, "Thou art my Son; today I have begotten thee"? Or again, "I will be to him a father, and he shall be to me a son"? And again, when he brings the first-born into the world, he says, "Let all God's angels worship him." Of the angels he says, "Who makes his angels winds, and his servants flames of fire." But of the Son he says, "Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever, the righteous scepter is the scepter of thy kingdom (Hebrews 1:1-8). All: Lord Jesus Christ, who is seated at the right hand of the Father and who is to rule all the nations with an iron scepter, we offer to you this Holy Hour of Reparation dedicated to the Mystery of Your Incarnation which took place in Your Mother's Womb. We implore you through the merits of Your Passion and through the intercession of Your Blessed Mother, Saint Joseph, all the Angels and Saints, to deliver us from the terrible decadence of our present culture, we beg You. As the Third Millennium unfolds, we look for the beginning of the restoration of moral values throughout the world, including an end to abortion and the triumph of the Culture of Life. Amen c. Prayer to God the Holy Spirit All: Come Holy Spirit! - Fill the hearts of your faithful, and kindle in us the fire of your Love. Send forth your Spirit and there shall be a new creation. And You will renew the face of the earth. The Holy Rosary The Apostles Creed I believe in God, the Father almighty, Creator of heaven and earth; And in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into hell. On the third day, he rose again. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father, from whence he will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen. - An Our Father and three Hail Marys for an increase of Faith, Hope, and Charity. Our Father who art in heaven; hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen. The Hail Mary 1. Hail full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen. 2. Hail Mary... 3. Hail Mary... The Our Father a. The Joyful Mysteries

The First Joyful Mystery: The Incarnation of the Lord In the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary. And he came to her and said, "Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with you!" But she was greatly troubled at the saying, and considered in her mind what sort of greeting this might be. And the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus. He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Most High; and the Lord God will give to him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there will be no end." And Mary said to the angel, "How shall this be, since I have no husband?" And the angel said to her, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore the child to be born will be called holy, the Son of God. Let us pray for the Unborn Jesus Apostolate so that God may bless it and through its prayers it may spread devotion to Jesus in the Womb of and that it may obtain from God many graces for the pro-life movement. The Second Joyful Mystery: The Visitation In those days Mary arose and went with haste into the hill country, to a city of Judah, and she entered the house of Zechariah and greeted Elizabeth. And when Elizabeth heard the greeting of the babe leaped in her womb; and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit and she exclaimed with a loud cry, "Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb! And why is this granted me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? For behold, when the voice of your greeting came to my ears, the babe in my womb leaped for joy. And blessed is she who believed that there would be * a fulfillment of what was spoken to her from the Lord." Let us pray to the Lord not to allow the Evil One to tempt people at the abortion buildings and thus making it easier to obtain conversions. The Third Joyful Mystery: The Nativity of Our Lord In those days a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that ali the world should be enrolled. This was the first enrollment, when Quirinius was governor of Syria. And all went to be enrolled, each to his own city. And Joseph also went up from Galilee, from the city of Nazareth, to Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and lineage of David, to be enrolled with his betrothed, who was with child. And while they were there, the time came for her to be delivered. And she gave birth to her first-born son and wrapped him in swaddling cloths, and laid him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn. Let us pray for the conversion of our local abortionist: that one day they may join the Culture of Life. The Fourth Joyful Mystery: The Presentation of the Lord And when the time came for their purification according to the law of Moses, they brought him up to Jerusalem to present him to the Lord (as it is written in the law of the Lord, "Every male that opens the womb shall be called holy to the Lord") and to offer a sacrifice according to what is said in the law of the Lord, "a pair of turtledoves, or two young pigeons." Let us pray for the rulers of our nation so that they revoke the laws that promote abortion. Glory Be, and the Fatima Prayer The Fifth Joyful Mystery: The Finding of Jesus in the Temple Now his parents went to Jerusalem every year at the feast of the Passover. And when he was twelve years old, they went up according to custom; and when the feast was ended, as they were returning, the boy Jesus stayed behind in Jerusalem. His parents did not know it, but supposing him to be in the company they went a day's journey, and they sought him among their kinsfolk and acquaintances; and when they did not find him, they returned to Jerusalem, seeking him. After three days they found him in the temple, sitting among the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions; and all who heard him were amazed at his understanding and his answers. Let us pray for the sidewalk counselors as they try to save women and unborn children from the claws of abortion.

b. The Mysteries of Light The First Mystery of Light: The Baptism in the Jordan Now when all the people were baptized, and when Jesus also had been baptized and was praying, the heaven was opened, and the Holy Spirit descended upon him in bodily form, as a dove, and a voice came from heaven, "Thou art my beloved Son; with thee I am well pleased." Let us pray for the souls of all aborted children. - Glory Be, and the Fatima prayer The Second Mystery of Light: The first Miracle at Canaan On the third day there was a marriage at Canaan in Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there; Jesus also was invited to the marriage, with his disciples. When the wine failed, the mother of Jesus said to him, "They have no wine." And Jesus said to her, "O woman, what have you to do with me? My hour has not yet come." His mother said to the servants, "Do whatever he tells you." Now six stone jars were standing there, for the Jewish rites of purification, each holding twenty or thirty gallons. Jesus said to them, "Fill the jars with water." And they filled them up to the brim. He said to them, "Now draw some out, and take it to the steward of the feast." So they took it. When the steward of the feast tasted the water now become wine, and did not know where it came from (though the servants who had drawn the water knew), the steward of the feast called the bridegroom and said to him, "Every man serves the good wine first; and when men have drunk freely, then the poor wine; but you have kept the good wine until now." This, the first of his signs, Jesus did at Canaan in Galilee, and manifested his glory; and his disciples believed in him. Let us pray that abortion and euthanasia be soon prohibited everywhere. The Third Mystery of Light: The Proclamation of the Kingdom of God Now after John was arrested, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of God, and saying, "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent, and believe in the gospel." And passing along by the Sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and Andrew the brother of Simon casting a net in the sea; for they were fishermen. And Jesus said to them, "Follow me and I will make you become fishers of men." And immediately they left their nets and followed him. And going on a little farther, he saw James the son of Zebedee and John his brother, who were in their boat mending the nets. And immediately he called them; and they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired servants, and followed him. Let us pray for the conversion of those who promote the Culture of Death, especially for those who benefit from it. The Fourth Mystery of Light: The Transfiguration at Mount Tabor About eight days after he said this, he took Peter, John, and James and went up the mountain to pray. While he was praying his face changed in appearance and his clothing became dazzling white. And behold, two men were conversing with him, Moses and Elijah, who appeared in glory and spoke of his exodus that he was going to accomplish in Jerusalem. Peter and his companions had been overcome by sleep, but becoming fully awake, they saw his glory and the two men standing with him. As they were about to part from him, Peter said to Jesus, "Master, it is good that we are here; let us make three tents, one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah." But he did not know what he was saying. While he was still speaking, a cloud came and cast a shadow over them, and they became frightened when they entered the cloud. Then from the cloud came a voice that said, "This is my chosen Son; listen to him." After the voice had spoken, Jesus was found alone. They fell silent and did not at that time tell anyone what they had seen. Let us pray for those who work at pregnancy centers. May God give them wisdom as they assist pregnant women. The Fifth Mystery of Light: The Institution of the Eucharist When the hour came, he took his place at table with the apostles. He said to them, "I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer, for, I tell you, I shall not eat it (again) until there is fulfillment in the kingdom of God." Then he took a cup, gave thanks, and said, "Take this and share it among yourselves; for I tell you (that) from this time on I shall not drink of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes." Then he took the bread, said the blessing, broke it, and gave it to them, saying, "This is my body, which will be given for you; do this in memory of me." And likewise the cup after they had eaten, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which will be shed for you.

Let us pray for educators, that they may promote to the youth moral values and a chaste way of life. c. The Sorrowful Mysteries The First Sorrowful Mystery: The Suffering in the Garden And they went to a place which was called Gethsemane; and he said to his disciples, "Sit here, while I pray." And he took with him Peter and James and John, and began to be greatly distressed and troubled. And he said to them, "My soul is very sorrowful, even to death; remain here, and watch." Let us pray for the pro-life groups that are enlisted in the crusade that seeks to promote the Culture of Life. The Second Sorrowful Mystery: The Scourging at the Pillar So when Pilate saw that he was gaining nothing, but rather that a riot was beginning, he took water and washed his hands before the crowd, saying, "I am innocent of this righteous man's blood; see to it yourselves." And all the people answered, "His blood be on us and on our children!" Then he released for them Barabbas, and having scourged Jesus, delivered him to be crucified. Let us pray for the development of the sciences, such as biology and genetics, so that they are developed to protect and preserve human life and not to destroy it, and that the scientists do not experiment with bodies of unborn children in order to develop medicines. - Glory Be, and the Fatima prayer The Third Sorrowful Mystery: The Crown of Thorns Then the soldiers of the governor took Jesus into the praetorium, and they gathered the whole battalion before him. And they stripped him and put a scarlet robe upon him, and plaiting a crown of thorns they put it on his head, and put a reed in his right hand. And kneeling before him they mocked him, saying, "Hail, King of the Jews!" And they spat upon him, and took the reed and struck him on the head. And when they had mocked him, they stripped him of the robe, and put his own clothes on him, and led him away to crucify him. Let us pray that medical, commercial and pharmaceutical organizations will not promote abortion and contraceptives. The Fourth Sorrowful Mystery: The Carrying of the Cross So they took Jesus, and he went out, bearing his own cross, to the place called the place of the skull, which is called in Hebrew Golgotha. There they crucified him, and with him two others, one on either side, and Jesus between them. Let us pray for mothers that are thinking about aborting their babies so that they repent and they permit them to be born. Pray also that any crisis that motivates them to abort be resolved and that they find someone to help them during their pregnancy. - Glory Be, and the Fatima prayer The Fifth Sorrowful Mystery: The Crucifixion Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land until the ninth hour. And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, "Eli, Eli, lama sabach-thani?" that is, "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?" And some 'Of the bystanders hearing it said, "This man is calling Elijah." And one of them at once ran and took a sponge, filled it with vinegar, and put it on a reed, and gave it to him to drink. But the 'Others said, "Wait; let us see whether Elijah will come to save him." And Jesus cried again with a loud voice and yielded up his spirit. Let us pray for the media, the schools and every institution that promote values to the youth so that their influence on the youth be productive and not destructive. d. The Glorious Mysteries The First Glorious Mystery: The Resurrection of the Lord Now after the Sabbath, toward the dawn of the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to see the sepulcher. And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled back the stone, and sat upon it. His appearance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow. And for fear of him the guards trembled and became like dead men. But the angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid; for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for he has risen, as he said. Come:, see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples that he has risen from the dead, and behold, he is going before

you to Galilee; there you will see him. Lo, I have told you." Let us pray for the conversion of institutions that promote the Culture of Death such as Planned Parenthood. The Second Glorious Mystery: The Ascension into Heaven Afterward he appeared to the eleven themselves as they sat at table; and he upbraided them for their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they had not believed those who saw him after he had risen. And he said to them, "Go into the entire world and preach the gospel to the whole creation. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover." So then the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God. And they went forth and preached everywhere, while the Lord worked with them and confirmed the message by the signs that attended it. Amen. Let us pray for the powerful governments of the world so that they embrace and promote good moral values and that they stop promoting abortion and contraception to the poor nations. Let us pray for the poor nations so that their governments choose good solutions to poverty while they dedicate themselves to protecting families and human life. The Third Glorious Mystery: The Coming of the Holy Spirit When the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one place. And suddenly a sound came from heaven like the rush of a mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared to them tongues as of fire, distributed and resting on each one of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. Let us pray for the good doctors and their staff who help pregnant women and for those who help with the preservation of life. Let us pray for the conversion of those who do not value life. And we ask that all medical personnel respect the Hippocratic Oath which prohibits abortion and euthanasia. The Fourth Glorious Mystery: The Assumption of Mary And Mary said, "My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for he has regarded the low estate of his handmaiden. For behold, henceforth all generations will call me blessed; for he who is mighty has done great things for me, and holy is his name." Let us pray that economists advise the governments of the world that reduction in population through abortion and euthanasia be not a factor in their equations to increase their national budgets. The Fifth Glorious Mystery: The Crowning of Mary And a great portent appeared in heaven, a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars; she was with child and she cried out in her pangs of birth, in anguish for delivery... she brought forth a male child, one who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron, but her child was caught up to God and to his throne... Let us pray so that our Mother, the Holy Virgin succeed soon in the battle against the evil spirit that promotes abortion and that abortion be ended through the entire world. And let us pray that her Son in the Womb, the Unborn Child Jesus, reigns in all our hearts. Hail Holy Queen Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, our life, our sweetness our hope! To thee do we cry poor banished children of Eve; to thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn then, most gracious advocate, thine eyes of mercy towards us; and after this our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary. Amen Pray for us o holy Mother of God. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

The Helper's Litany to Jesus in the Womb of Mary Response: Have Mercy on us. Jesus, knit so wonderfully in the Womb of Jesus, conceived by the Holy Spirit in Jesus, uniquely human from the moment of conception in the Womb of Jesus, present at creation, created inthe Womb of Jesus, through whom the world was made, formed in Jesus, Word made flesh, taking on a human body in Jesus, revealed by the Father, concealed in Jesus, subject to human development in Jesus, whose Precious Blood first flowed through tiny arteries and veins in Jesus, hidden nine months in the Womb of Jesus, only begotten of the Father, assuming flesh in Jesus, begotten by God, nourished by the substance and blood of his most Holy Mother in Jesus, leaping from eternity into time, in Jesus, revealing with his Father and the Holy Spirit all wisdom and knowledge to his most Holy Mother in the Womb of Jesus, aware of his role as Redeemer in Jesus, sanctifier of His Precursor from Jesus, eternal Word, Divine Child, embraced by the Father, in the Womb of Jesus, raising His Mother to the heights of sanctification in the Womb of Jesus, everlasting delight of heaven, in Jesus, manifesting His Incarnation to His most holy mother in the Womb of Jesus, adored and contemplated by His Mother, in the sanctuary of Her Womb, Jesus before whom the angels prostrated themselves, in the Womb of Jesus, in whom the very angels beheld the humanity of the Infant God and the union of the two natures of the Word in Jesus, our protector and savior, asleep in the inviolable Womb of Jesus, whose Holy Limbs first budded in Jesus, whose Sacred Heart first began beating in Jesus, whose Godhead the world cannot contain, weighing only a few grams in Jesus, Divine Immensity, once measuring only tenths of an inch in Jesus, whose Divine Grasp outreaches the universe, cradle in the Womb of Jesus, Sacrificial lamb, Docile Infant in Jesus, who was to suffer the agony and passion of death, accepting the human capacity for pain and grief, in Jesus, foretelling His Eucharistic Presence, in Jesus, Lamb of God in the Womb of Spare us, O Lord. Jesus, Holy Innocent in the Womb of - Graciously hear us, 0 Lord. Jesus, Son of God and Messiah, in the Womb of - Have mercy on us, O Lord. Amen. Let us pray: Jesus, notwithstanding Your Divine Nature as Son of God, equal and one with the Father, You deemed to become incarnated as the Son of Man, assuming the condition of a pre-born child in the Womb of Your Holy Mother, the Blessed Virgin Mary. You therefore, sanctified and elevated every maternal womb for all time and every human whose life is begun at conception. Jesus, manifest yourself in the hearts of your people as the Eternal Son of God who began Your life in the Womb of a woman called Mary. You could have chosen to commence your messianic mission in another manner; however, You showed your love for us by becoming a pre-born infant in the Womb of Your Holy Mother. You took on the total human existence from conception to death, since You consented to be carried in the Womb of the Blessed Virgin Mary and then,' after birth, save us by Your suffering and death on the Cross. From conception to death we live and have our being in You. Jesus, we adore and thank You for choosing to become incarnated in the Womb of Your Mother Mary. We

beseech You to bless all mothers and intercede with the Holy Spirit and Your Father that every infant in the Womb receive Your precious gift of life. Jesus, conceived in grant that Mary's loving mantle overshadow these precious pre-born infants in the wombs of their mother and assist in their birth. We ask these, Jesus, in Your name, who with the Father and Holy Spirit, lives and reigns forever. The Chapiet of Divine Mercy The Chapiet of Divine Mercy is prayed especially for conversion. We pray the people involved in the Culture of Death repent and join the Culture of Life. Here we pray for the conversion of our local abortion providers. The Our Father Our Father who art in heaven; hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen. The Apostles Creed I believe in God, the Father almighty, Creator of heaven and earth; And in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into hell. On the third day, he rose again. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father, from whence he will come to judge the living and the dead.
