We so appreciate the time Curt gave to the Chapin Pres family and will continue to send up prayers for his beloved, Karen. And now we throw our arms open to welcome the Jackman family and we send prayers for Marcus as he transitions into the role of Senior Pastor of Chapin Pres and prayers for his family s transition from Muncie to Chapin! Today I send thanks from all of us to Stephanie Wilkes, Nancy Hanna, Cindy Knowles and Mary Ella Wright for the beautiful flowers outside of the canopied entrance of the church and by the sign. Oh my, if you could see them all dirty and grubby as they pull up the old pansies and plant the new flowers. A beautiful labor of love for their Lord and their church family! Thank you, thank you, thank you! We are also delighted to have Paige Whitehurst and Ross Stoker working here with the Youth Ministry this summer. If you encounter Marcus be sure to introduce yourself to him, and then introduce yourself again the next time. It is awfully hard remembering the names of so many people. See you Sunday! Love you, Helen Page 3, June 017 Issue

ReFormed Newsletter Sign Up If you would like to stay up-to-date with what s going on in the student ministry, make sure to check our website consummatehope.com, scroll to the bottom of the page, click the link for newsletter sign-up. Also make sure to check out our Facebook and Instagram pages for up-to-date I nformation. INTRODUCING FIFTH WEEK! MIDDLE SCHOOL GUYS AGAPE GROUP MOVING TO TUESDAY NIGHT! We will move our middle school guys Agape Group to Tuesday nights beginning June 6. There are a lot of guys that will have football and other sports on Wednesday. We will keep the same time, 7:15 8:30 PM on Tuesday! For any questions or comments, let me know. Fifth week is where students and adult leaders of the ReFormed Student Ministry will meet at Chapin Presbyterian every fifth (specified) Sunday from 5-7 PM. During that time we will have a celebration of the gospel, that is we will celebrate the fact we are no longer slaves to the former kingdom of darkness and death but adopted daughters and sons, resting in God s kingdom by clinging to the work of our victorious LORD by having a time of food, worship music, prayer, and service planning. During this time of eating and fellowship, we as a group, will come prepared with the basic knowledge of our forthcoming month s schedule. Each student will have at least 3 or 4 potential days (hopefully) in that month to meet up with other available students and adult leaders for a time of serving either the church or local community. Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners. 1 Timothy 1:15 Preschool version: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners. 1 Timothy 1:15 This is our new TREASURE SEEKERZ verse that will start on June 18. Until then, we are still memorizing Lamentations 3:-3. During Sunday School we will finish our study of the Old Testament with Nehemiah and Malachi. Then we will begin the journey through the New Testament with lots of great activities and truths for our children to hide in their hearts as they read and learn on Sunday mornings. Our ladies are having a summer study and we will provide childcare IF you let us know by June 1! If you d like to volunteer to help with our children on these fun mornings, please let Andrea or me know. VBS is in just 6 weeks! If you haven t registered your child, please do so NOW online at chapinpres.com, or in the church lobby. We also need for volunteers to sign up to bring snacks for our workers. We have over 65 amazing adults and teens committed to help us share the love of Jesus with apx. 15 children during this week! Mandatory training dates are June 8 at 7:00 PM OR July 1 at 10:00 AM. We still need paint stirrers and pennies, too. See you Sunday! I love you!!
