FAITH PROMISE SUNDAY TODAY, we will fill out our Faith Promise cards here at Christ Church. This is our means of financing our Mission outreach. All the missionaries and the local mission organizations that Christ Church supports go through Faith Promise. For any newcomers to Christ Church and to those who have used Faith Promise before, let this be a reminder of what Faith Promise is: It is not a place for you to direct your regular tithe. It is giving beyond your tithe give to Christian Missions. The Faith Promise cards need to be filled out after you have prayerfully sought the Lord s will concerning your Faith Promise. However God directs you to fill out your card understand that you are trusting Him to supply that financial need, and when He supplies it, you give it to him for missions. God may have already given your Faith Promise offering to you. In many instances you may not know where the money is coming from. Simply trust God for it, and he will supply it in a myriad of ways. During the month of May you have the opportunity to fill out your Faith Promise card for the 2016-2017 Faith Promise year. Eventually all the Faith Promise cards need to get in the hands of Pastor Jason. Please remember that Pastor Jason is the only person who sees the cards. At the end of May, he will total the amounts on the cards so that we know how much we have to work with for our Mission outreach. Once you have turned your Faith Promise card in, no one will ask you about it again. It s solely between you and God. The Faith Promise Mission Outreach this year will run from June 1, 2016 to May 31, 2017 Mission Committee 11

FAITH BEYOND THE PEWS WORK CAMP June 13-17 Servants' Ministry to local homeowners was started in 2007 to help meet the needs of residents in our community. Our local ministry is designed to provide maintenance and repairs to the homes of people who, for whatever reason, are unable to do the work themselves, or are not able to pay professionals to do the work for them. In the 7 years since we started this ministry, we have been continually amazed at the needs we encounter in York and Lancaster County. We are touched by the relationships we have built through serving others and working together with volunteers to change our local community! Faith Beyond the Pews, will occur June 13-17 and will focus on the needs of residents from the Red Lion to Wrightsville area. In the past 3 years this camp has ministered to over 65 families while God has utilized the gifts of more than 250 volunteers! If you have a day or two or the whole week, join us. If you are unable to give your time, maybe you can make a donation, see list in courtyard. Deadline to register to help is May 31 See table display in courtyard for more information or to get a registration form. If you have questions please see Diana Thoman Fundraiser at Hoss's May 20 to benefit Servants Inc. Get a card on welcome table. Thank you for your support. 12
