Book of Revelation Bible Study Sundays, 11:30-12:30 pm September 23, 30, October 14, 28, November 4, 11 Have you ever wondered about the Book of Revelation? It contains messages of doom and destruction, monsters with many heads, blaring trumpets, cacophony and chaos and the only use of the word hallelujah in the entire canon. What does it mean? What did it mean to Christians in Asia Minor almost 2000 years ago? Why did it survive and even get incorporated into our Bible? What does Revelation have to say for us in the 21st Century? Come and join the conversation. If we read Revelation together, it won t be scary or confusing anymore! The conversation will be led by Alice Polley and David Budding. Comfort food will be available. To sign up contact Alice Polley at a- polley@comcast.net or Tricia Kibbe at tricia@wellesleyvillagechurch.org. You can also register by sending an email to Dr. McDonald at mcdonaldkevin23@yahoo.com. Senior Choir Ever thought about singing in the Village Church choir? Concerned about not being able to come every week? Concerned about walking into something unknown? Concerned you may not read music well enough? We rehearse once a week on Sundays from 8:30-9:30 am, before 10 am Worship. There is no weekly requirement, we have a full component each week, but people do have lives and often are not able to attend each week so attendance varies each week. The choir is a wonderful and welcoming group. Come and try us out! All you have to lose is an hour of your time. A solo voice is not required. Just some basic skills and a healthy dose of good will to participate. Feel free to show up or contact David Carrier at carrierdr@gmail.com with any questions. The choir is an integral part of our worship and we rely on the volunteerism of our church members. And we have a great view from the Choir Loft!
