They also staged awesome cultural performances in the Mulla Asgher Hall. The event aimed to help the young learners have respect for other cultures as well as foster positive attitudes towards other nations/cultures.

Milad un Nabi The Month of Rabiul Awwal is a very special month. It has the birthdate anniversary of our greatest Personality, The Holy Prophet (pbuh). We, too, observed it in a special way. The senior students of Jaffery Academy had a special assembly where they recited prose and poetry on the Holy Prophet. The dress code for the day was the Islamic Cultural Dress. The boys adorned elegant khanzus while the girls wore abayas with colourful shellas. Irfan Karim (Yr. 10) not only delivered a powerful talk on the mercy and character of the Holy Prophet but he also articulated why Michael Hart ranks the Holy Prophet as the number 1 most influential personality in both secular and religious aspects. Suleman Hyder (yr 10) Jamal Habib ( yr 9) Aishaan Mawji (Yr 8) and Imranali Nasser and MohdKazim Khaku of Yr 7 moved the crowd with a beautiful salutation on the Holy Prophet. Mashallah! There is so much talent amongst our students. Fizza Batul (Yr 10) composed and recited a heart touching poem on Prophet Muhammad entitled 'This is Muhammad, in God's eyes the best of creation'. Another heart touching Nasheed on the Holy Prophet was beautifully recited by Samira Hyder, Suhaima Twahir and Inas Shigog (Yr. 8). To conclude this special assembly, a recap of the Holy Prophet's message was summed up by Dr. Jane and Mr. Morris. Elsewhere the Junior and Nursery students celebrated Milad-un-Nabi by reciting various nasheeds stream wise in Honour of the Holy Prophet (S.A.W). It was a festive event. Indeed in the messenger of Allah, you have a good example to follow ". The Holy Qur'an chapter 33: verse 21. We wish all our parents and students who observe Christmas, a merry festive season. Happy new year to all of you. May you all have a prosperous 2019.
