We ll plan on leaving church right after the SS hour and stop for lunch. Students will need a change of clothes from their Sunday attire, $15 for activities at Fun Station and money for lunch. We ll be back around 7-8, depending on traffic and activities. Mac Weaver Sonshine Club Luncheon-Thursday, August 17 at 12 noon Cost: $5 per meal Entertainers: The Henkel Family (this family travels all over the country and are from Decatur, TX). A Love Offering will be taken for this event. Call the church office to register. Education Ministry Rev. Terry Sampson Jill and I are excited to finally be here. Thank you for making us already feel at home. We still have not sold our house and are praying that happens soon so we can find a permanent home here in Valdosta. Together we can attempt some Great Things for Him. Music Ministry Join Us In Choir Each Week Preschool and Children s Choirs will resume in August. First Voices Choir meets at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesdays. NOTE: First Voices Choir will not meet on July 26 or August 2. Rev. The study will cover Matthew 5-7. Taught by Rev. Benny Olliff and meets in the Adult Building Room 102. The Story, Getting to the Heart of God s Story by Randy Frazee. (This class will continue from the Fall.) Pastor and author, Randy Frazee, presents 1 ten-minute teachings on how the story of Scripture God s great overarching purpose intersects with the story of your life. Taught by Rev. Ron Hatchett and Rev. Avery Kelly and meets in the Adult Building Room 108. Sunday nights are high energy for Youth. There are games, funny videos, theme nights things get a little crazy. And really fun. We dig deep in God s Word and find that it intersects with our everyday life. This is where we belong. This is where we are at home. This is where we can let our guard down and start being real. Led by Mr. Jared Green and meets in the Family Life Center. The Gospel Project for Children will continue. The same lesson of The Gospel Project will also be taught on Wednesday evening at 6:00 p.m. Led by Dr. Drew Boswell and meets in the Children s Building.
