*NEVER ALONE! LOVING GOD...LOVING OTHER1...CHANGING THE WORLD VALLEYVIEW PICTURE DAY: We are creating a new pictorial directory and need everyone to get their pictures taken again! Please stop by the multipurpose room today or March 16 during either of these time slots: 8:30-9:00 or 10:15-11:15. See the background on your insert. NEW SMALL GROUP ON MARRL4GE: Coming: a 10 week small group study for anyone anticipating marriage, newly married, happily married, worn out in marriage or "had it" with marriage, based on the book, "When Sinners Say I Do Discovering the Power of the Gospel for illarriage." This book is about encountering the life-transforming power of the gospel in the unpredictable journey of marriage. Starting Thursday March 20th 7-9PM, here at ValleyView. You can sign-up on your response card. Any questions please see Ken or Rosene Hertzler. EASTER CHOIR: What a privilege we have to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ on Easter Sunday. One of the ways we are planning to do that is with an Easter Choir. If you can read music and sing, we'd love to have you join in. Our practices will be Sunday evenings at 8:00, in the sanctuary. If you have any questions, please contact our leader Kent Zellers (244-8223). Please sign up on the response card if you are interested. FIFTH SUNDAY FAMILY FEAST There are five Sundays in March, which means on March 30, we will be having our "Fifth Sunday Family Feast". After the second service on that Sunday, everyone is invited to stay after and join in the feast and fellowship in our multipurpose room. All you need to bring is a main dish and a side dish to share. (If you are a family of two or less you just need to bring one item.) The church will supply the drinks and paper goods. If you have any questions please call the church office. MEAL MINISTRY: Through our Benevolence Team, we provide meals for those in our church family who are in need: recovering from surgery, illness, have a baby, etc. We are, once again, updating and adding to our list of those who could help when asked. Please use your response card today to let us know of your willingness to be a part of this vital ministry. SERVICE SATURDAY Our youth ministry is planning the next opportunity to go out into our community and serve others for Saturday, April 5. We need adults to participate as well to make a big difference for Christ. You can sign up to help on the Service Saturday board in the hallway to the gym. RELEASED TIME VOLUNTEERS: Wrightsville Released Time is in need of volunteers willing to help on Thursday's at 1:30PM. Praise God, their numbers are growing so more helping hands are needed! If you are able to help, please contact Laurie Lehman at 252-4234. ValleyView Alliance Church March 9, 2014

Twice a month, a "host couple" will invite two families, plus a family that is new to ValleyView (it may be their first time here) to their home. There will be a host for each service, coordinating a brunch after both the first and second services. The setting is informal and the food will be simple...just like family. This will be a great opportunity to connect with others in our ValleyView family. Our Elders are taking the lead by being hosts as this gets underway. You will have the opportunity to participate in a group or even to host one as we move forward. Metro and Lisa Heller are leading this ministry. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to give them a call (252-0323). So, get ready to connect by participating in our Sunday Brunch Bunch. You will be able to sign up to take part on your response card starting next Sunday.
