A life changing experience that makes you immerse in your beliefs through living and sharing them. Day 1: Monday April 6 th 2015. Departure from Denver. Day 3: Wednesday April 8 th 2015. Nazareth/Cana Breakfast then start the day by visiting, the site of Mary s home and the town where Jesus lived as a child. At Nazareth, celebrate Mass in the Basilica of the Annunciation, and visit the Byzantine Church of St. Joseph and Mary s Well. Visit the Convent of the Sisters of Nazareth to hear of their work and see the unique excavations uncovered beneath their present compound. In the after-noon visit Cana, where Jesus performed His first miracle at the request of His mother. There, visit the Franciscan chapel where those who wish to can per-form the renewal of their wedding vows. Return to hotel in Mt. Beatitudes Guesthouse (if available). Day 4: Thursday April 9 th 2015. The Sea of Galilee Visit Mount of Beatitudes, scene of Jesus great Sermon on the Mount, and onto the nearby Tabgha, where Jesus fed the crowd of 5,000 and onto the site known as Peter s Primacy. Here, after His resurrection, Jesus met with His disciples and told Peter to feed my lambs;; feed my sheep. Celebrate Mass in this special place on the Sea of Galilee. A short drive away is Capernaum, from where Jesus launched his Ministry; see the synagogue which dates to the time of Jesus and the church built over the site of Peter s home. Enjoy a lunch of St Peter Fish. In the afternoon take an extended boat ride on the Sea of Galilee with time to reflect and for a teaching. Return to Mt. Beatitudes Guesthouse (if available) for dinner and overnight. Day 5: Friday April 10 th 2015. Mt Tabor, Stella Marris Today, after breakfast, start the day by hen drive to Mount Tabor, the site of the Transfiguration, with time to reflect on Christ s Humanity and Divinity, good preparation for the journey to Jerusalem where Jesus was to suffer the crucifixion and resurrection. Beatitudes we ll drive to the Golan Heights to Caesarea Philip-pi and the archaeological site and national park at Dan. Caesarea Philippi was an ancient Roman city located at the southwestern base of Mount Her-mon. The city is mentioned in the gospels of Matthew [1] and Mark.[2]. To-day, the city, now no longer inhabited, is an archaeological site located within the Golan Heights. We will also visit the main sources of the river of Jordan. Return to your hotel in the Mt. Beatitudes Guesthouse ( if available ) for dinner and over-night. Day 7: Sunday April 12 th 2015. Jerusalem Time for Confession at the Mt. Beatitudes before Mass, after leave the Galilee heading south through Jinin and we will enjoy Sunday Mass with local Christian Community. Visit the Church where Jesus healed the ten lepers and Stop for lunch in Sebastiya where John the Baptist was buried and see the remains of the Byzantine Church dedicated to him memory. Visit the town of Nablus including Jacob s Well;; hewn out of solid rock and over 100 feet deep. As it is manually dug out it is most certainly the same well mentioned in the Gospel of John. The water at the bottom of the well is fed by flowing water, which is why ancients gave it the name of living water. It is at this well that Jesus met the Samaritan woman and said to her: "Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life." Many Pil-grims drink the water from this very well from which Jesus drank. Drive to Taybeh, a Christian village on the edge of the Jerusalem Wilderness. The village is linked to Ephraim,

which is where it is thought Jesus and his disciples sought refuge after the Council of Priests asked for his execution. The village has been a Christian outpost ever since and there you will be able to see an ancient farmers house. In such a house farmers would have lived in and kept their animals in the manger below in the time of Jesus birth. You will be able to celebrate Mass here in the church where local Catholics have practiced their faith for generations. Drive up to Bethlehem, check-in to your hotel for dinner and overnight. Day 8: Monday April 13 th 2015. Jerusalem, Bethlehem Start the day by visiting the cave at the Shepherds Field, Mass in the Shepherds field. The caves have soot marks of the fires that shepherd s lit to keep warm while watching over their flocks. Then to Bethlehem, beginning at Manger Square which stands in front of one of the oldest of Christian churches, the Church of the Nativity. Enter the Church and down to the Grotto of the Nativity, which marks the spot of Jesus birth. Beneath the Altar, there is a silver star with the Latin inscription: HIC DE VIRGINE MARIA JESUS CHRISTUS NATUS (Here Jesus Christ was born to the Virgin Mary). Walk up to the Old City of Bethlehem towards Bethlehem University, the only Catholic University in the Holy Land. Lunch at the Hotel Management Department. Meet with Students and faculty. After a short drive takes us to the village of Ein Karem, birthplace of John the Baptist, to visit the church that com-memorates his memory. Pray the Mystery of the Rosary on the walk up the hill to the Church of the Visitation. Return to Bethlehem. Dinner with local Christian families. Overnight at our hotel in Bethlehem. Day 9: Tuesday April 14 th 2015. Bethany, Jordan Valley, Qumran, Dead Sea Start the day by driving down the Jordan Valley to Qumran where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. Drive through the Jerusalem Wilderness where Jesus spent 40 days fasting. Drive to Jericho, the world s oldest continuously inhabited city, to view the Mt of Temptation and see an example of a Sycamore Tree. Then to Bethany where He raised Lazarus from the dead. Celebrate Mass here before driving to Jerusalem, check in and dinner in our hotel in Jerusalem. Day 10: Wednesday April 15 th 2015. Mt of Olives, Gethsemane, Mt. Zion From the Mount of Olives, take in the panoramic view of Jerusalem. Then to the Pater Noster shrine, where Jesus taught His disciples the Pater Noster The Lord s Prayer (Luke 11:1-4). Walking down the Palm Sunday Road stop at the beautiful little church, Dominus Flevit - The Lord wept. It was here that Jesus wept over Jerusalem [Luke 19:41]. At Gethsemane reflect on Jesus final night. The Garden contains trees, the roots of which go back to the time of Jesus. Visit the Church of All Nations to pray at the Rock of Agony, a section of bedrock identified as the place where Jesus prayed alone in the garden on the night of His arrest. From there, take the route through the Ki-dron Valley along which Jesus was taken as a prisoner to the house of the High Priest Caiaphas where He was interrogated and imprisoned. Now called Peter in Gallicantu ( crowing rooster ), this beautiful Church also commemo-rates Peter s Denial of Christ, his repentance and then being forgiven by Jesus. Here we celebrate Mass. After Mass, go up to Mt. Zion to visit the Upper Room, commemorating the Last Supper, Mass in the Last Supper Church. Nearby is the Benedictine Church of the Dormition. Dinner and overnight in our hotel in Jerusalem. Day 11: Thursday April 16 th 2015. Via Dolorosa, Holy Sepulcher This morning we start the Via Dolorosa (The Way of the Cross) at the Antonia Fortress, where Jesus was condemned to death by Pontius Pilate. From there He was taken through the city to be crucified. The Stations of the Cross lead, through the markets of the Old City to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Here is the site of Calvary and the Tomb of Christ. Celebrate Mass in the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Dinner and overnight in our hotel in Jerusalem Day 12: Friday April 17 th 2015.
