The Easter Cross Witness was created to be a community celebration. Believers from local churches are given the opportunity to express a visible witness that will give them an opportunity to share with their neighbors about the hope that is within them. As you place the cross in your yard, or window of you apartment, ask the sovereign LORD to use this simple cross for His glory, and rejoice... HE IS RISEN! March 19: CCC (Senior Adult) Luncheon will be held at noon. This is a special time for all who attend. Please bring a side dish to complete the meal as meat, bread and drink will be furnished. Also, invite a friend so they can share with us. March 20: Kingdom Wednesday will be held with the meal at 5:30 and Bible study at 6:00 pm. The lesson is Mary and Martha. The memory verse is Proverbs 19:21. The items that may be brought for OCC are Hygiene items. March 21: Small Group meeting at the Sherrell s at 6:00 pm. Keep in mind that if you are 18-25 years of age or older, we would like to issue you a special invitation to join this group. Don t forget to bring your bible to church. March 24 th through April 14 th (4 weeks) Sunday Night Prayer Cottage Meetings: We need more homes to be able to do this. April 18 th 24-Hour day of prayer: Use the Easter Season to invite your lost sheep to church and see what God is going to do. April 28 th through May 2 nd Bible Readathon: In order to secure the spot you would like you may go online to sign up at: signupschedule.com/jhatfield This is a very special event to spread God s word. June 11-15 Youth Camp at Cedarmore in Bagdad, KY. Camp will be for ages entering 6 th grade graduating seniors. See Barrett or Rachel Tingle for more info. June 21 23 Children s camp at Centri-Kid in Campbellsville, KY. Camp will be for ages entering 3 rd grade entering 6 th grade. See Barrett or Rachel Tingle for more info. August 3 rd Springfield Baptist Church is going to take the bus to Renfro Valley for a Dailey & Vincent Gospel concert. Tickets are $45 and sign ups start this week!
