The Michigan Public Service commission (CommiSSiOn) Will hold a public hearing to consider The Detroit Edison Company s (Detroit Edison) March 27, 2002 application for approval to recover approximately $27.5 million from its customers for implementation costs incurred during 2001 for its customer choice (also called direct access) program. Detroit Edison proposes to recover this amount from residual savings of securitization, subject to audit and prudency review. Customers will see no impact on their bills at this time. The Commission has selected this case for participation in its Electronic Filings program. Ail documents filed in this case must be submitted in both paper and electronic versions. An original and four paper copies and an electronic copy in the portable document format (PDF) should be filed with the Commission.
