We had a Make Your Own Omelet breakfast organized by Keith & Ginger Bruder and the Funky Good Time Band had us dancing to the sounds of Motown one evening. We also celebrated St. Patrick s Day, hosted by the Auxiliary. If you didn t attend, you missed out on a great party. The ladies packed the house and ran out of food early. I d like to thank Sue Banners, Barb Brasington, Joyce Rochowiak, Dianne Krause and all of the other ladies who volunteered their help. You outdid yourselves! Our club works together very hard to plan events and make our club fun for everyone, but we could use some help and fresh ideas. Nominations for Aerie officers takes place on April 19th during our regular meeting. Please consider how you might be able to help out. If becoming an officer is too big of a commitment right now, we understand, but we can still use your help and ideas. We re always looking for people willing to cook, decorate, make flyers, set up the hall, sell tickets, etc. Just approach me or another Aerie or Auxiliary officer and we can put you in touch with people looking for help. Finally, there is also a way every single member can help out. Come to the club and come often!! Have a happy and blessed Easter everyone. Fraternally yours, Worthy President Gary Smith Madam President s Report Auxiliary Meetings are the 2nd & 4th Wednesday of the Month Hello and Happy Spring!! There has been many events happening around the club. Mardi Gras went off very well and thanks to Rozanne and Dianne and their committee for doing a great job, everybody seemed to have a great time. The fish dinners are still going on, on Friday s and also karaoke. St. Patrick s Day dinner was a huge success and we sold out, the luck of the Irish was with us. Thanks to the chairperson, Sue Banners and her committee. Whitey provided the music and had a lot of basket prizes that everyone enjoyed. The make your own omelet bar was a big hit with a bloody mary and mimosa bar! The ladies Auxiliary is sponsoring the kids Easter party on April 8th. There is a sign up sheet at the club to sign up your children and grandchildren or great-grandchildren, so please do so, so we can have a good idea how many children will be coming. To close out March, the club welcomed a new band featuring Motown music. Last but not least, I would like to wish my husband a very Happy Birthday with many more to come. Don t forget that April is nomination month and May is elections. So if you plan on running for an office, please attend the meetings. Sincerely, Your Auxiliary President, Joyce Rochowiak
