10:15 Favorite What You Need: White paper and crayons Before the Activity: Have the children sit at a table, and give them a piece of paper and the crayons. During the Activity: First ask the children to show you their favorite color by coloring with that color of crayon. Next, ask the children to draw their favorite food. After the Activity: Continue the activity with asking the children to draw their favorite animal, activity, and person. Before the Activity: I want to know all about you. I want to know your favorite things! During the Activity: (Give the children the paper and crayons.) First, I want to know your favorite color. Find your favorite color of crayon and color on the paper. (Pause.) Wow! Those are beautiful colors! I want to know your favorite food. Please draw a picture of your favorite food on the paper. (Pause.) Yummy! Your food looks delicious! Now I want you to draw your favorite animal. (Pause.) Fantastic! After the Activity: I love getting to know more about you. In our Bible Truth today, we are going to learn about someone who already knows ALL about us! Transition: Move to Bible time by naming your favorite things as you walk to the Bible Time area. 3

Everyone point to that very special person God made. (Point thumbs to chest.) Everyone should be pointing to themselves because God made each and every one of us. Who made you? [Bottom Line] God made me. That s right! [Bottom Line] God made me. Way to go! Let s sing! (Lead children in singing More Than Anything. Provided on DVD for you.) So good! Great job, everyone. Now, tell me one more time: Who made you? [Bottom Line] God made me. Bible: Communicating God s Truth in Engaging Ways Engage kids hearts through a dynamic and interactive Bible Truth and prayer experience. What You Need: A Bible and a BAND-AID (preferably a colorful one) on the Leader s forearm LEADER: Hey, friends! Will you please sit here with me? (Pause as children sit down.) Awesome! Everyone put your hand on your head and touch your hair, please. How many hairs do you think are on your head? Let s try to count each hair! Ready? (Attempting to count.) One, two, three, four, five... okay, we have a LOT of hair. You can put your hands down. I don t think I could ever count all the hairs on my head! But guess what. There IS someone who knows how many hairs are on your head. (Pause.) God! It s true! (Hold up your Bible.) The Bible says you are so important to God that He knows everything about you! He knows what you had for breakfast! Raise your hand if you had cereal. (Pause.) Raise your hand if you had waffles. (Pause.) Raise your hand if you had a smoothie. (Pause.) All of those sound REALLY yummy! Did you know that you are so important to God that He knows your favorite toy? Raise your hand if you like to ride your bike. (Pause.) 4
Raise your hand if you like to play with dolls. (Pause.) Raise your hand if you like to play with blocks. (Pause.) That s SO fun! You are so important to God. He knows what kind of BAND-AIDs you like when you get hurt. Personally, I like this kind. (Hold up your arm to show off the BAND-AID.) What you ate for breakfast, and how many hairs are on your head RIGHT now, and your favorite toy or BAND-AID might seem like little things. But you are so important to God that He cares about every single thing about you. Point to yourself and say, I m IMPORTANT to God! CHILDREN: I m IMPORTANT to God! LEADER: Say it again but this time say, I M important to God! CHILDREN: I M important to God! LEADER: Okay, one more time. But say it this way, I m important to GOD! CHILDREN: I m important to GOD! LEADER: The Bible says God loves you so much that He sent His one and only Son, Jesus, to be your friend forever. How great is that? We are important to God because God made us. Tell me: Who made you? CHILDREN and LEADER: [Bottom Line] God made me. LEADER: Yes! God made us and we are important to Him! Let s pray. PRAYER LEADER: Heavenly Father, we know that we are important to You. We re so important to You that You know EVERYTHING about us. During the Activity: Say the memory verse, and when you say the word made in the verse, blow a bubble. Allow the children to pop the bubble. Repeat several times. Before the Activity: Let s say our memory verse. Our verse tells us that God MADE us. I am going to make something while we say our verse, so watch closely. During the Activity: I am fearfully and wonderfully made (blow bubble), Psalm 139:14. WOW! A bubble! You may pop the bubble! (Do activity.) Let s do that again! (Finish activity.) 2. Just Like Me What You Need: Me Activity Page and crayons During the Activity: Give each child an Activity Page and some crayons and ask them to color the gingerbread figure to look just like them. Before the Activity: God made all of us different and wonderful! During the Activity: (Give each child an Activity Page and crayons.) This is a picture of Jesus standing with His friend. Uh-oh! The friend is blank! Use your crayons to make the person look just like you. (Do activity.) After the Activity: Great job! God made all of us. God knows all about us, and we are very important to Him. He sent Jesus to be our friend forever. We are important to God because He made us. Who made you? [Bottom Line] God made me! 10:15 1. Necklace What You Need: Necklace Activity Page, four foot lengths of black yarn, crayons, stickers, and scissors Before the Activity: Feed one section of the yarn into the two holes on the Activity Page and tie the ends together to form a necklace. The necklace should hang at the child s stomach. During the Activity: Give each child a necklace, the stickers, and the crayons. Invite the children to decorate their necklace. After the Activity: Help each child put on the necklace and adjust the yarn as needed so it hangs at the child s stomach. Before the Activity: We are going to make a special necklace. During the Activity: (Give each child a necklace.) Our necklaces say, I am important to God. We can wear them to tell everyone! First, we need to make our necklaces WONDERFUL! Use the crayons and stickers to decorate your necklace. (Do activity) After the Activity: Perfect! I love your necklaces! Now let s put them on so that everyone knows that we are important to God. (Finish activity.) God made us, and we are very important to Him. Who made you? [Bottom Line] God made me!
