Please indicate to a children's worship leader if your child should accompany them, or you may accompany your child to sign them in. A nursery is available during worship and Sunday School for children 3 years and younger, and these children are dismissed directly after the children's message. We encourage parents to prayerfully determine which worship service is appropriate for their child to get involved and learn about worship. Pew Pals are prepared weekly and are available in the vestibules for children aged preschool 5 th grade. These special bags have books, activities, and liturgical items related to the Biblical messages that will assist your child in learning to be in the worshiping community. Be sure to pick up a bag for your child and return it at the end of the service. The green bags are geared to ages 3-6, and the orange bags to ages 7-12. Baby and Me Room: For parents with babies who need a quiet moment during the service, a comfortable spot is available in our Toddler Nursery Room. There is a recliner, privacy signs on the door for nursing mothers, and a courtesy station. Childcare staff is available if you need assistance. Exit through the left vestibule and an usher can help direct you to the room. If it were not for the reduced salaries and prepaid pledges, our YTD deficit would be approximately $3,000. The current balance in the endowment fund is $258,509. Please contact the church office if you would like any additional information on our church finances. Summer is upon us! Just look at your thermometer, which corresponds to the lower attendance at church already. We scatter, just like children escaping on the last day of school! The monthly bills, though, always seem to find us, don t they? Please remember to continue your faithfulness with your tithes and offerings during the summer months. The early part of 2018 has found us generally true to our pledges, for which the Finance Team is thankful. God smiles when we respond to His lavish generosity to us. In turn, let s say Thank You in a tangible way by remaining His faithful servants with our financial resources. SERVICE Home of Hope s Mission is to provide a safe shelter, food, support services, and an avenue to self-sufficiency for homeless men in our community. SPC provides ministry support to Home of Hope in multiple ways, including donations of supplies on their Needs List. The mission of Hands of Christ is to bring Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) congregations to meet the basic needs of children as they begin each school year, showing them Christ's love by providing clothing and school supplies.
