Operation Christmas Child Begins Sunday, September 18 Since 1993, more than 100 million shoeboxes have been delivered to children in over 150 countries. The annual drive to provide gift-filled shoeboxes to needy children throughout the world begins Sunday, September 18. Shoeboxes, with instructions, will be outside the fellowship hall for you to take home, fill from an approved list of items, and return to the church office for the collection week of November 14-21. Last year we collected 100 boxes our goal this year is 110 boxes! Watch our progress on the "Going and Growing" chart outside the church office. This is an opportunity for us, who have been blessed by God, to reach children with the true meaning of Christmas the birth of Jesus and to spread the gospel through a box filled with love.
