RIVERSIDE, OHIO APRIL 14, 2019 READINGS FOR April 20 & 21 Acts 10:34a, 37-43 Colossians 3:1-4 Luke 24:1-12 With heartfelt thanks for your STEWARDSHIP OF TREASURE April 6 & 7 $16,326.67 March SVDP Collection: $2,543.53 IF YOU HAVE NEVER ATTENDED THE EASTER VIGIL MASS, THIS MIGHT BE THE YEAR FOR YOU! The glory of the Vigil Mass can be found in its rich symbolism, the rich history that is proclaimed, the rich power of darkness and light, fire, water, incense, music, poetry, and the celebration of three sacraments. It is truly an awe-filled event. Fr. Dave will be presiding at the Mass this year, and given his health situation, we have reduced the number of scripture readings. That, along with the fact that we have just one baptism this year, will reduce the length of the Mass itself. If you have never been to the Easter Vigil in the Holy Night, please join us as we celebrate the Lord s resurrection! Also, some people were not sure, but this Mass IS an Easter Mass! VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TO HELP US PUT 5 OR 6 ROWS OF CHAIRS BACK INTO PLACE ON BOTH SIDES OF THE AISLE AFTER THE EASTER VIGIL MASS SATURDAY NIGHT! Lots of hands will help us to get the job done faster! If you are unable to come to the Mass but can come afterward, let us know and we will text you when the Mass is over! CHANGE TO MASS SCHEDULE Please note the following changes to our Mass Schedule: Tuesday, April 23-No 8:15 a.m. Mass at St Helen (8:15 am Mass at Immaculate Conception) Thursday, April 25-No 8:15 am Mass at St. Helen (8:15 am Mass at Immaculate Conception) HEALING MASS FOR FR. DAVE Please make plans to join us, as we surround Fr. Dave with prayers and convey the Sacrament of the Sick at a Healing Mass on Tuesday, April 30th, at 6:30 p.m. We will also welcome anyone who is facing a serious illness in mind, body, or spirit to come forward to receive this Sacrament.
