The Mysteries of God
Let a man regard us in this manner, as servants of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God 1 Corinthians 4:1 Jesus told His disciples, To you it has been granted to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven Matthew 13:11.
What Does He Want? He made known to us the mystery of His will according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Christ. Ephesians 1:9
What Does He Want? His will is mostly about what kind of person He wants you to be. He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, so that we should be holy and blameless before Him in love. Ephesians 1:4
What Does He Want? God willed to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles (nations), which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. Colossians 1:25-27
What Does He Want? God wants you and me to know Him, to know what He wants, to know what He is doing, and He wants us to participate, to be involved in what He is doing. He wants us to know His plans, to know the things to come.
What Does He Want? He wants us to know the fullness of all that He has given to us in Jesus Christ.
Christ In Us God has given us Himself entirely in Christ. In Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form and in Him you have been made complete... Colossians 2:9-10
Christ In Us For of His fullness we have all received, and grace upon grace. John 1:16
Christ In Us. Your Father has gladly chosen to give you the kingdom. Luke 12:32 not of this world John 18:36 in our midst. Luke 17:21
Christ In Us The kingdom is spiritual, separate from the physical realm, yet within, coincidental, simultaneous, interactive
Christ In Us We were designed - made to connect and interact with a physical realm as a spirit being AND with the spirit realm, as a physical being.
Christ In Us Christ is a Man physically enthroned at the right hand of the Father in the spirit realm. Also coincidentally, simultaneously, and interactively IN us, as a Spirit being
Christ In Us He is THERE and at the same time HERE. Not of this world, yet in our midst.
Us in Him But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He love us, even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ, by grace you have been saved, and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavelies, in Christ Jesus. Ephesians 2:4-6
Us in Him When the Father touches Jesus, He is touching the Church. When God looks upon the Lord Jesus Christ He see you seated at His right hand. When God hears your voice in prayer, He hears Jesus praying. You are in Him.
Us in Him As He is, so also are we in this present word. 1 John 4:17 Christ is victorious, risen, exalted enthroned at the Father s right hand with all authority in heaven and on earth.
Us in Him As He is, so also are we in this present word. 1 John 4:17 And we are like Him. We are spirit beings in Jesus Christ and also enthroned with the Father in Him Our life is hidden with Christ in God. Colossians 3:3
As He is - so are we We are in Him there He is in us here.
One Flesh St. Paul writes about husbands and wives and says: this mystery is great, but I am speaking with reference to Christ and the church. Ephesians 5:32
One Flesh Ephesians 5:22-31 Wives be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ is the head of the church He Himself being the Savior of the body
One Flesh Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church And gave Himself up for her; that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her So husband ought to love their own wives as their own bodies.
One Flesh He who loves his own wife loves himself, For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ also the church. Because we are members of His body, For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother and shall cleave to His wife and the two shall become one flesh.
One Flesh My physical body is connected to His physical Body. 1 Corinthians 6:15; 12:27 We are the fullness of Him, who fills all in all. Ephesians 1:22-23. We are His fullness. He is our fullness.
One Spirit The physical is only one-third of the mystery. There is also the oneness of spirit. the one who joins himself to the Lord is one spirit (with Him). 1 Corinthians 6:15-19
One Spirit Our spirit is so united with His Spirit - they are usually undistinguishable. God intended for our oneness with Him to be as absolute as His Trinitarian Oneness is.
One Spirit Understand what the will of the Lord is and do not get drunk with wine, for that is dissipation, but be continuously being filled in sprit. Eph. 5:17-18 - being filled with the Holy Spirit - being filled in my human spirit - being filled in the spirit realm
Whole Persons The human being is spirit, soul, and body, connected as a whole person. So also is Christ. We in Him there and He in us here does not divide either of us as persons. He and we are integrated, whole, complete persons Yet we are united as one - individuals connected.
Whole Persons The soul of a human consists of emotions, intellect, volition, values, imagination, memory.
Whole Persons The Son of God, the only Begotten God, Who is in the heart of the Father inhabits my body. Does that mean that I can feel what God feels?
Whole Persons And what does it mean to have the mind of Christ? Does that mean that I can think and see things as He does?
1 Corinthians 2:6-8 Yet we do speak wisdom among those who are mature; a wisdom, however, not of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are passing away; but we speak God s wisdom in a mystery, the hidden wisdom, which God predestined before the ages to our glory; the wisdom which none of the rulers of this age has understood; for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory
1 Corinthians 2:9 But just as it is written. Things which eye has not seen and ear has not heard, And which have not entered into the heart of man, All that God has prepared for those who love Him.
1 Corinthians 2:10-12 BUT to us God revealed (these things) through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the spirit of the man, which is in him. Even so, the thoughts of God no one knows except the Spirit of God. Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we might know the things freely given to us by God.
1 Corinthians 2:16 For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he should instruct Him, BUT we have the mind of Christ.
Whole Persons Jesus said, I have called you friends, for all things that I have heard from My Father, I have made known to you. John 15:15 James exhorts us who lack wisdom to ask God for it, who gives to all men generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him. James 1:5
We are called to do the same works that Jesus did. We need to feel His heart We need to know His thoughts We need to know who we are
WHO AM I? Our job, our responsibility is administrate this eternal purpose of God making this glorious truth known to devils and demons in the spirit realm. This many-sided, or facetted wisdom, hidden in the past, is now revealed to us so that we might know who we truly are.
To me, the very least of all saints, this grace was given, to preach to the nations the unfathomable riches of Christ, and to bring to light what is the administration of the mystery which for ages has been hidden in God, who created all things; in order that the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known through the church to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenlies in accordance with the eternal purpose which He carried out in Christ Jesus our Lord. Ephesians 3: 8-11
WHO AM I? We are stewards of the mysteries of God We are men and women in Christ there Christ is in us here We are as Christ is, just as He is as the Father is
