Class will resume on July 29th when the ladies will continue the video based Bible study Twelve Women of the Bible. *YOUNG AT HEART WILL CELEBRATE INDEPENDENCE DAY ON TU., JULY 10th, AT NOON IN THE FELLOWSHIP HALL. The menu will be BBQ sandwiches, chips, cole slaw, and red, white and blue cake with blueberries. Meals are $6. Logan Museum, will discuss the facts and fallacies of the origin of Memorial Day. BIBLE JOURNALING YOUR FAITH class meets the second Wednesday of every month. IT S SUMMER YARD SALE TIME! This annual yard sale benefits the missions of UMC, and funds are distributed through the Service and Missions Committee. The sale will be held on Fri., July 20, 3 6 PM and Sat., July 21, 8 noon. Workers will be preparing for this sale Monday Wednesday (July 16 18) from 9 noon, 1 4 PM and 6 8 PM. Thurs., July 19, work hours will be 9 noon and 1 4 PM. Fri., July 20, work begins at 9 AM to make sure everything is in place and ready for the sale. Allen Smith is the host of three national, award winning television shows: Garden Home (PBS); Garden to Table (Create TV), and Garden Style. Possibilities for fall farm tour dates can be found in the July COMPASS. During the tour you will visit Allen's gardens, Poultryville and the animals, the Garden Home, and the ehow Cottage. Lunch prepared by the resident chef is included in the tour. Cost per person is $96.75. If we have enough interest we will schedule a bus trip for one of the fall dates. We would be leaving the day prior to the tour date and returning home the day after the tour. That simply means that if you see a first time visitor, guest, or occasional attendee sitting near you, that you greet them, shake their hand, and make them feel welcome. In other words, just be the hands and feet of Christ. You both will be glad that you did. *DRIVERS NEEDED FOR TRANSPORTATION TEAM. Is driving a race car on your bucket list? If so, we can help! Fine tune your driving skills by joining the Transportation Team today. You will be helping an important ministry develop and grow and, down the road, we just might see you on the NASCAR circuit. *4th/5th GRADE SUNDAY SCHOOL VOLUNTEER CO TEACHER WANTED.
