The loaves were un-leaven and pointed to the sinless-ness of Christ Israel was represented in the Holy Place by the 12 unleavened loaves. Salvation is of the Jews to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, the giving of the Law and the promises. The horns on the Altar of showbread, Altar of incense, and the Altar of Sacrifice links these together as a sweet smelling savor arising from the perfect sacrifice of Christ and now His mediatorship.
