Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church As a parish of the Catholic Diocese of Charleston, Our Lady of Grace seeks to know and share God s Word, live as a community of Christian disciples, devoutly celebrate the Holy and other sacraments, provide a prayerful environment for all people, and serve the poor and those in need in Christ s Name. In this way of life, Our Lady of Grace Parish looks to Mary of Nazareth as its model and patron. The Most Rev. Robert E. FROM FATHER KIRBY Happy Sunday, Team Grace! This is Palm Sunday, the day in which we commemorate our Lord s triumphal entrance into Jerusalem. This entrance procession will provoke the Lord s enemies and begin the immediate process of his arrest and torture. This coming week is hailed by the Church as Holy Week because it is the holiest week of the engre year. In the coming week, we will solemnly celebrate the mysteries of the Lord s Passion, Death, and ResurrecGon. These are the mysteries of our redempgon! All Chris)ans are invited to par)cipate in the liturgies of this week. Please make every effort to be at the altar for these holy days! For your quick reference, our Holy Week schedule in included in the centerspread of this bullegn. Some things happening around the parish: Please note that our Easter schedule next is different next weekend: On Saturday evening (due to the Great Vigil), we only have at 8:00 PM. The schedule on Easter Sunday itself, however, follows our regular schedule: 7 AM, 9 AM, and 11 AM. If anyone at any point has made a large gi\ to the church toward a sacramental in honor or in memory of someone and would like a plaque to commemorate this gi\, please contact me. It was recently brought to my a]engon that many early gi\s to the church were not properly acknowledged. We want to remedy this oversight! Please let me know. Our on-line giving has been increasing. I m grateful to all parishioners who have made the switch! Please note that when you change to on-line giving, you sgll receive envelopes. Some parishioners enjoy that since they check the box I give on-line on the envelope and place it in the offertory basket at. If you give on-line but prefer not to receive envelopes, please let our Bookkeeper, Connie Gleave, know. (cgleave@charlestondiocese.org) We can assist you in having the envelopes suspended. More updates next week. Let us pray for one another! Twi]er/fatherkirby jeffrey.kirby@charlestondiocese.org
