PA L M SU N DAY March 25, 2018
Preparation for Worship As you enter Sanctuary, please prepare your heart for worship silence your mobile devices. On Palm Sunday, we celebrate Jesus entry into Jerusalem, fulfilling Zechariah s prophecy coming King who brings salvation peace. But as we rejoice shout Hosanna toger, it is important that we capture irony day. This is moment Israel eagerly waited for, expecting a mighty military ruler, not a gentle King riding a lowly donkey. This is day on which Jesus entered city in triumph, but as a part His journey to cross. This is week in which crowd s cries Hosanna would soon turn to Crucify Him! This is beginning climax God s redemptive plan to save world, not by conquering world, but by dying for it. As we enter into worship today, let us prepare our hearts by contemplating glory this King One who purposefully rode toward cross, One who saved those who hated Him, One who redeemed world by dying for it.
