TIGER Vision Retreat & CEC Andreas Gass USA To me the Vision Retreat is always the highlight of the year and I am looking very much forward to it. It is an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas with colleagues from all corners of the globe. There is so much experience and knowledge present to bounce off ideas and opinions. The location and surroundings are breathtaking and very inspirational no matter the weather conditions. My favorite part is always the drumming sessions and the night walks around the lake. What a great contrast to experience. The drumming with all the energy around us and the night walk just keeping quiet and walking and experiencing the environment and your own thoughts. Every year I come back rejuvenated and energized to take on new tasks and projects. ROSEMARY LEMIEUX Canada I have many wonderful stories from the Vision Retreats that I have attended over the past few years the drumming, the walk around the lake each year, the food, the scenery and especially the ability to get to know each other just a little better each year. The most memorable time for me was the year that I somehow found the courage to tackle the rope course at the Adventure Park. My motivation for doing so came from the year before when I had held back in fear from trying any of the team building exercises at the same park. I had left that early Retreat with wonderful memories but was disappointed in myself that I did not even attempt to overcome my own fears and that, somehow, I had let the team down; that I did not trust them to catch me if I fell. I made a mental resolution that the time had come to face some of my fears and I spent the next year getting in better shape, body, mind and spirit. And I did it! The following year I finished the course! I definitely could not have done so without the amazing, wonderful, mind boggling support of the entire group of people that I was with. They encouraged me along the way, they helped me when my shaking hands couldn t do it and they cheered and hugged me when I finally reached the end. 1 5

Overcoming that fear led to challenging other fears and life has become one great big adventure. I can t thank enough those inspired with the vision to provide these opportunities for growth. I truly believe that it is in this personal growth that we develop our courage as leaders to take the risks we need to move the big rocks forward. Thomas Loibl I was very curious about the CEC/Vision Retreat event and to meet other people from the TIGER family. We arrived on Wednesday morning to Bad Aussee and had great days with our collegues from nearly all over the world. We discussed several interesting issues related to our existing jobs and exchanged information concerning our business in a very open and passionate way. We had some time of intensive work but also time to form smaller groups and enjoyed the nice area at the Wasnerin hotel. For example, we had a nice time with a small group and investigated the Eishöhlen on the Dachstein and enjoyed the trip to Hallstadt with our colleges from Canada, USA and China. One really amazing experience was our drumming session where we found our TIGER rhyth within a short time and improved our drumming event to the highest level possible in such a big group. Overall, we had a great time with great people, made good progress to cope our future challenges with passion, fun and resilience. CHRISTIAN EBENBERGER It is not all too often that a great many of TIGERs from different regions meet, but boy, when they do, they really shake and rattle the boat! However big, it is certainly not sheer the number of people that meet, but it is their enthusiasm and passion that make every minute of such a gathering an enjoyable moment. When we meet you see the fire ignite and the sparks leap forward. Professionals from all walks of life bring to the table their talent, know-how and best practice methods and the results are stunning: best in TEAM and best in class! I am proud to be part of those meetings that mean a whole world to me. Byron Bautista Mexico To me, the Vision Retreat did exceed my expectations this year, it was my second participation and felt as family, as always. The drumming session was on its next level and was amazing because when I startdc playing the drum at the beginning I felt thre was no coordination among us, but a few minutes later, when I closed my eyes, opened my heart and just followed the sound in the room, I felt that everybody was in coordination and that gave me a lot of happiness because we could communicate without words. 2 5

As I m a believer of the TIGER Core Values, I think this kind of activities reinforce the teamwork within our organization. I can feel TIGER cares for people! That is very important. The CEC meeting was fantastic and great improvement compared to the previous year; messages were clear to the attendees and brakes time were good. The information we received is very important to see where we are and where are we going. From my end, I m sure we are in the correct path and working to be the real global player in the powder market. It was a real nice experience that I will never forget. I feel very proud and fortunate to work for TIGER. PS. the dessert you can have in, WOW, is incredible! I don t remember the name of it but I have the picture in my mobile, if I go there next year, for sure I will eat as much as I can. HENRIK NYSTROM Sweden My first meeting with you all and I really appreciated the location and atmosphere of the meetings and gatherings. Here are some pictures I took; a nice view over the lake and the view from the hotel in the morning. Andreas Bauer To me the Vision Retreat was wonderful. It showed again that we came from different ships, but we are all in the same boat now. It is beautiful and overwhelming to breath the spirit of us TIGERs. We dare to be different. I feel privileged to be in this team, it motivates me. 3 5

For a better world. Amir Haider Canada A great walk to the lake with eight TIGERs from eight different nationalities. This is what makes our TIGER family so resilient. MARIO PLACHY The CEC an the Vision Retreat is for me one of the most important events in the TIGER-year. Nowadays, our world appears as a quick changing one. This event provides a large contribution in order to focus all our energy on the most important goals (our next mountains) and our Vision. Even though we don t know the exact way how to reach them at that very moment. This picture of the Loser is a way for me to express that. 4 5

It is for me a very good combination of sharing information, workshops and the opportunity to exchange with colleagues from all over the world with beautiful surroundings. WOLFGANG LINDORFER Our yearly CEC and Vision Retreat is much more than coming together to make strategic plans and to reawake our Vision, it is like coming home to a big family. It represents what economy and society should work today people working together whatever their origin, skin color, gender or religion in order to think, create and realize a better world.
