I pray these lines find all doing well. I also hope that you have a greater understanding and appreciation for the Mass. (The beauty of me writing this is that I haven t done the teaching Mass at the time I had to write this, so, no doubt it was the greatest teaching Mass ever!!!lol) Once again Jesus speaks to us about Jesus being the living Bread that came down from Heaven. All of us are on a Spiritual journey whether we are able to recognize it or not. You make choices every day in your life which has a positive or negative impact upon your spirituality. Know that Jesus does all He can to help us along. He provides and in fact IS the very food for our Spiritual journey. In giving us HIS very self, He is sharing all that He is, He is, loving, forgiving, caring, compassionate. And so if Jesus gives us his very self, we also begin to acquire these very characteristics as well. I pray this sounds familiar to you from last week s bulletin article it was your homework to acquire these qualities. Jesus, in giving of Himself in the Eucharist provides for our transformation (He does our homework for us). I pray that with each passing week, reception of the Eucharist makes all the difference in the world in your life! God Bless you! Love, Fr. Mike SCRIP SCRIP NEWS!
