FIVE SECRETS TO A GREAT RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD

Transcription:

Dear Ladies, We are back from AGM in Akureyri and I am sure that I speak for all who attended when I say that we had a splendid time there! Everything was in its perfect place and the Ladies of LC really gave us a beautiful week to add to our LCI memories. One of the moments which stands out for me would obviously be the fact that my fabulous friends saw me placed at helm of our Association as President a position I consider to be both a privilege and an honour. Thank you once again for your trust and your love. You honour me much but please do not forget that I am still the same person it is only that I am now the first among equals President It is my gut feel that we are going to have an awesome Circling year why? Simply because we are embarking on a journey to secure and cement our relationships to ensure that we secure the future of our growth in stature, in numbers which should automatically translate to growth in our strengths. We are going to achieve this by first taking a hard look at ourselves, finding where our weaknesses lie and collectively working to mend bridges and commit to winning, commit to becoming ONE. The full story of my message of ONENESS can be found on our website and there is a cute video too on our YouTube page which shows some aspects of being of one mind, one vision, one purpose. My motto states that LCI We Are One because we first have to hear it, visualize it in our hearts and souls so as to truly believe and start to live it. Only after these process shall it be seen so let us quickly start doing what is required so all the core principles are in place as soon as possible.

About me - I am still mother to my one and only First Born child Neema who turned 16 two weeks after Akureyri. She is proud of me and that s a really good feeling I was thanking her for giving up her childhood so I could live my dreams; normally its parents who give up dreams so their children can realise their dreams and in my household it s the other way round. I am still working in the Postal Industry finding ways to innovate the Post in and in Zimbabwe. I look forward to us winning in all areas this year I don t think failure on any level is an option. I have begun to see it and as long as we commit to the motto we can only get better. I am going to ask us to engage more with one another as a start. I am going to encourage each one of us to actively once every 2 months find 2 Circlers, one nationally and one internationally and start to communicate with them and actively work on the friendship at the end of the 12 months we should know 12 Circlers relatively well. It will serve us no purpose to pretend to do this. I also want to share an important aspect about LCI plan to travel! You will not reap all the things you ought to receive from LC if you are not doing so. There all sorts of activities going on throughout the year such as Charters; many new circles are joining our family and of course LC Kenya and LC USA. If you have not been to Kenya then you have not lived and I have heard the same said about USA especially New York. There are over 40 National AGM s, two MTM s and Godmothers and Godchild countries visit each other. Of course there is our grand finale for the year in Cape Town, in 2016 registration opens on the 28 th September 2015. I really hope to meet every single one of you on my travels. One final thing which is not in the guidelines but a very important thing to note: if the opportunity presents itself do not be afraid to take a selfie by yourself or with some friends and upload it on social media it is not illegal. I end off with this final reminder let us not forget to be grateful first for the gift of life, the precious gift of family and friendship and the privilege of service. Yours in Ruth Hungwe-Rukarwa LCI President 2015-2016 We are One

Hello Dear Friends Around the World My name is Chantess from sunny, member of Edenvale Ladies Circle No 6. I am 41 years old, single with no dependents and living life to the fullest. I have been part of this amazing organization for 15 years and my life has not been the same without Ladies Circle. It has taught me so many valuable tools through friendship and service and I am still looking forward to what lies ahead. I would like to say Thank You again for your support as I stood for LCI President where we Encouraged, Empowered and Enjoyed! I am so excited for the year ahead and together with you, we are going to have a fantastic year ahead for 2015-2016. My name is I am member of LC 76 Vojens, Ladies Circle. So here I am newly elected Vice president 2015/2016 for LCI and very honored and excited but also a little bit scared of the responsibility I have taken on. I live together with my 5-year-old son Matti. He is the most important light and joy of my life. I am single waiting for the prince on the white horse or something. I work as a teacher at the local business and trade high school where I teach English, Danish and Social Studies. I also mentor and coach students Vice President on different subjects, trying to be a helping hand and support in their sometimes challenging lives. Besides this, I own some restaurants with my ex husband yes you can do that. My job is to manage the administrative parts of our company. When I am not at work or with my son, well also when I am with him I do LC and loving it. I have been on the national board as VP, P and IPP for the last three years and wow, it has been an experience that will follow me for the rest of my life. Without Ladies Circle, I would not be the same person. LC has given me a new perspective on life and ways of living. LC has made me want to improve and always try to become a better person. The inspiration and strength for this comes from all the Circlers I have met locally, nationally and internationally. Thank you so much for this. Being on the International Board has been a dream for me since 2011 when I attended LCI in Hamburg. I knew then as I do know that I would like to give back to this amazing organization and try to inspire more Circlers to travel, expand your

hearts and meet and spend time with all the other beautiful spirited hearts that belong to the same spirit The Ladies Circle spirit. My job this year will be to help our President Ruth reach her goals and help wherever possible. Furthermore, my responsibilities on the international board are to send greetings on all the charters, anniversaries etc., collecting articles for our 5 newsletters, HYR and much more. Looking forward to the work and to meet old friends and hopefully making new ones as well in the years to come In Vice President Ladies' Circle International 2015-2016

Hello my friends, My name is Sirli and I come from Tallinn,. I am 38 years old and I work as a Chief Accountant in company that sells and provides after-sales service of construction and mining equipment. I am member of LC Club Nr. 5 Tallinn. Also I am an LC Board member as IPP. It is not a secret that I love travelling, especially between Aland Island (Archipelago in Finland) and. I love downhill skiing and driving boats and reading books. At the moment aside from the joy of finding a place on the LCI Board I am so full of joy because one week after our LCI Conference I became Aunty again after 15 years to a little baby girl. I am so proud of my sisters and their children. Treasurer I do not know what is in-store over next 2 years but I am walking into this privilege of being your Treasurer with an my open heart. I thank you all for this enormous trust and support. If you have any question, please do not hesitate to ask, I am more than happy to help you. In Treasurer Ladies' Circle International 2015-2016

Hello Ladies I m really honoured and proud to be on the International Board for the next two years. This is my first year as your web lady. I am sure most of you do not know me personally so here is a little information about me. I am 36 years old, married and we have two beautiful daughters, 3 and 7 years old. I am a Biomedical Scientist and I work as the Head Biomedical Scientist at the Pathology Department at the Akureyri University Hospital. I work with tissue specimens all day long. I really enjoy my job and I love to have the opportunity every day to see how incredible our body is from single little cell up to big organs. Every day is different with lots of new challenges and tissue specimens. Weblady I also have a personal website where I share recipes for healthy Smoothies and drinks, for those of you that are curious you can find me on Facebook (heilsudrykkir hildar). I have written two books of these recipes which are published and I handled all graphics design and photography myself for these personal projects. I have been I member of Ladies Circle 7 in Akureyri,, since November 2008. I love Circling and I have been very active from the start, I have only missed one meeting with my club and attended almost every Councillors Meeting from the beginning. My first International experience was at the AGM in Hamburg 2011. I was amazed and inspired and my goal was that one day I would make it onto the International Board; to be able to give back everything LC has given to me. I am a second generation Circler, my mother was a Circler and my father was a Round Tabler. Growing up, these great organisations were a big part of my family so I already knew what I was in for when I joined my club 2008. My husband is a Tabler and we both love everything LC and RT have to offer. For the past few years we have attended RT5 Euro meetings together.

These organisations are a big part of our lives and we feel privileged to be able to participate in them. I m so excited to work with you for the next two years. My goal is to make the web site more simple but still full of life and I hope I can achieve that with your help. Please send me everything your countries and clubs are doing; Charters, Anniversaries, Charity Projects. I want to know about every Ladies Circle event that is out there because this next year we are doing ONENESS! I am looking forward to travel the Ladies Circle world over the year and be able to meet new friends, strengthen the bond with old ones and enjoy being. In Weblady Ladies' Circle International 2015-2016

Hello Ladies It is a pleasure to be serving a second year as your Secretary. At the LCI 2015 in I was thrilled to be able to meet everyone there and the new Councillors coming in for 2015-2016. For the benefit of those who do not know me yet I have been in Ladies Circle since 1993 and this is my final year. I originally Ladies joined whilst I lived in Zimbabwe and then continued when we moved to England. Ladies Circle has been a huge support to me, provided the most amazing long life friends and I have had so much fun along the way. I have been married for 22 years to Wayne who was a Tabler and we have three children Mike (21), Shanna-Leigh (18) and Danny (16) and a little dog called Cally. Secretary I initially trained as a Secretary when I left school and held positions in the industry for over 20 years. I then went to University in the evenings whilst working and studied as an Accountant. I qualified and graduated in July 2013. We have very recently relocated from Lichfield (just north of Birmingham) down to Andover (South of England). There is no Circle in Andover but watch this space. In the interim the ladies from Winchester have kindly adopted me which I am so grateful about. As a result of the move I have started a new job with a construction company as the Senior Projects Coordinator. This has so far been very exciting and I am learning new things every day. I am looking forward to being part of Rue s year as I know she has some fabulous ideas and plans for our Association.

Can I encourage you all to travel, it is such a fantastic new way of meeting new ladies, making friends and really getting to understand Ladies Circle on an International level and allow you to see the bigger picture. If you need any help or guidance during the year please feel free to contact me as I am here for you. With a big hug to you all! In Secretary Ladies' Circle International 2015-2016
