MINISTRY NEEDS SUNDAY, Sept. 2 Attendance 94 Offering: $ 4,963.50 (includes Simply Giving) Budgeted Income received through Sept. 2 $211,465.80 Budgeted Income needed through Sept. 2 $266,688.00 ($7408/week) Your consistent support is very much appreciated, especially during the summer months. PRAISE & WORSHIP BAND is looking for singers or instrumentalists to help lead the New Traditions 10:30 service once a month from September through May. Instruments could include drums, violin, bass, guitar, or flute, to name a few. Any college or high school students are especially welcome. If you are interested in sharing your musical talents with this band, please call Muriel Olin at 681-7216. CHRISTIAN ED BOARD has put together a wish list of things needed for the coming Sunday school year. Please take a look at this list on the bulletin board in the narthex & help however you can. If you went with to New Orleans this summer, you will be helping lead worship here on Sept. 16 and at Redeemer on Sept. 30. We will meet at 8 PM on Wednesday, Sept. 12 here at Zion to plan and practice. YOUTH GROUP! Welcome back Wednesday will be Sept. 12. We will have pizza & games from 5-7 for grades 6-12. We will start our regular youth group schedule Sept. 19 with Jr. Hi Youth Group from 3-5 and Sr. Hi from 7:30-9:30 PM.

If you can t walk that day, you can do a spiritual walk, or just visit at the park as a sponsored walker. This is not a protest, rally or athelitic event. All are welcome to participate, and everyone can be a part of the LifeCare Center s life-saving work by donating to one of the sponsored walkeers from Zion. The LifeCare Center provides free pregnancy tests and ultra sounds, positive alternatives to abortion, parenting education, material assistance, access to adoption services, medical and social service referrals, and post-abortion counseling. Please come out to the Walk for Life and experience being the hands and feet of God! WALK TO END ALZHEIMER S More than 5.4 million Americans are living with Alzheimer s disease and another 15 million are caregivers. Please help MOVE a nation and JOIN this walk on September 15 at the Warroad Senior Living Center. This is our nation s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer s care, support and research programs. The Walk is an all ages and all abilities event bringing together families and friends who support the cause.
