WE IN PRAYER PRAISE NEWS & THE BIBLE WELCOME TO ST ANDREW S ROSEVILLE SUNDAY 18TH MARCH 2018 ST ANDREW S IN NEWS

All that s going on around St Andrew s FROM THE EXECUTIVE PASTOR SANTINO DIMARCO Executive Pastor Dear St Andrew s, As our Annual General Meeting fast approaches (please set aside Monday 26 March at 7pm to be there), I have been finalising the annual financial accounts for presentation. Now before you switch-off (yes, I know financial talk can be boring), I want to take the opportunity to say how amazed I am at the amount of money we have so generously shared to support other Christian organisations as well as individuals and families who have found themselves in need. In 2017, over $366,000 was given to (or set aside for) mission and aid! These funds are supporting local and overseas mission, ministry training, women s refuges, health services for the poor, and Indigenous support, to name just a few. We have also provided much needed funds to individuals and families in crisis. The dollar amount is impressive; but more impressive and significant is the impact the sharing of our blessings will have on the lives of others. Thank you to all who have given generously through our general offertory, Foundation Day appeal and other specific appeals. The biblical framework for Christians and money is based on the truth that all we individually have is from God and it is our responsibility and joy to administer it wisely. As we forge ahead towards all of the goals of our 2020Vision, and in response to the grace we have received, my hope is that we will find ourselves giving even more from our abundance to God s work. Speaking of the 2020Vision, most know that the redevelopment of our site is an integral part of our goal to be a centre of community. You will recall that Parish Council (through the Property Committee) have been working on options to have the 2020Vision Project redevelopment completed in stages. Much work has been happening behind the scenes and there will be a significant update provided at the AGM detailing how close we are ( please Lord! ) both in design and the required finances. So, please do come to the AGM on Monday 26 March. Hear about the property redevelopment, our finances, participate in the election of Parish Councillors, Wardens and Nominators, and make recommendations to the incoming Parish Council. Blessings, Santino

All the good things that the Bible teaches us SERMON NOTES

Words you ll need for today s contemporary services CONTEMPORARY SERVICE PRAYERS CONFESSION Most merciful God, we humbly admit that we need your help. We confess that we have wandered from your way: we have done wrong, and we have failed to do what is right. You alone can save us. Have mercy on us: wipe out our sins and teach us to forgive others. Bring forth in us the fruit of the Spirit that we may live as disciples of Christ. This we ask in the name of Jesus our Saviour. Amen. THE LORD S PRAYER Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your Name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For the kingdom, the power, and the glory, are yours now and for ever. Amen.
