Mark 5:24-34 24 And Jesus went with him; and much people followed him, and thronged him. 25 And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, 26 And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse, 27 When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. 28 For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole. 29 And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague. 30 And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes? 31 And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me? 32 And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing. 33 But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth. 34 And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague. 10 3

When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole. 1. Jesus is God and has power over sickness. 2. Many people can talk about Jesus, but He wants us to trust Him like this woman. 3. It is faith in Jesus that brought healing in this woman s life and will bring healing in your own life. 8 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet. Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation. 5
HEM OF HIS GARMENT It seemed that crowds always followed Jesus and especially after Healings. In the crowd that day was a woman-who had a plague for twelve years concerning an issue of blood. Needless to say she had suffered many things due to visits to doctors and also it cost her all the money that she had. Nothing was better but become worse. When she heard about Jesus she wanted to get near Him and reached out and touched His garment. Her thought was If I can touch His clothes, I shall be whole. And suddenly she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague, the blood stopped. Jesus knew right away and said Who touched my clothes? 6 The disciples said Thou seeth the multitude all around us and asks us who touch you? And when Jesus looked around He saw her who had done this just a Touch of His garment. The woman was fearful and trembling and knew what was done in her and fell down before Him and told the Truth. * Jesus said to her: Daughter, thy faith has made thee whole, go in peace and be whole of thy plague. When you are desperate all you have to do it have faith and press in close to the Healer-Jesus. He has compassion for you but you must make a contact with Him, personally by pressing in and getting close to the Healer. 7
