The ABCs of God Explanation of Materials Storing Visuals These materials have been compiled for use with The ABCs of God. This curriculum is designed to be reusable from year to year. Take care when preparing and storing lesson materials and visuals: you or someone else will be using them again For that reason, you may want to color or decorate the visuals, then laminate them for durability. A storage system will also be helpful, such as a large envelope or file folder per lesson, or a ring binder with a clear plastic page protector for each lesson. Teachers will also be collecting three-dimensional visual aids. In the resource file for each lesson, you may want to include a note indicating where corresponding threedimensional visuals are stored. Preparing Visuals The footer at the bottom of most resource pages references the corresponding lesson, which explains how to prepare and use each piece. The note, for example that reads piece 3 of 4 indicates that four pieces are supplied for this lesson in the Resource Packet, of which the current page is the third piece. Many pieces will be used as reproduced here in full pages. Those that need to be cut apart are noted by a solid cutting line. Some pieces will be folded, noted by a folding line with arrows. There are a few visuals that are deliberately destroyed as part of the lesson. Permission is granted to reproduce the entire resource packet or print the pages from the CD enclosed in the teacher's kit to maintain an intact reference copy.
