Prayer of Confession Holy Father, we praise You for the riches that are ours in Christ Jesus. In Him we have life and have it abundantly! You have promised Your goodness and mercy shall follow us all the days of our lives, and we will dwell in Your house forever as co-heirs with Christ. Truly none of us can even imagine all the things You prepare for those who love You. Instead, we have filled our imaginations with all kinds of substitutes for You; things we think will make us happy and fulfilled. We have dreamed of possessions, positions, pleasures, and privileges. We have longed for comforts, entertainments, and attention. Our pride has an unquenchable thirst. Father, forgive us. Create in us clean hearts, O God, and renew a right Spirit within us. How does this story reveal to us that Jesus is fully man and fully God? 2. What does Jesus offer the woman? 3. What is significant about the water Jesus is talking about? 4.
