Dear Sisters and Brothers of Idaho; Thank you so much for making the Singing of Idaho Grand Chapter such a huge success. All of you that participated helped in making it the success that it was. I would like to mention some people that I forgot at Grand Chapter and for that I humbly apologize. Monte Bollar, you made the sound system look easy and I profoundly thank you for making sure we could all be heard. Cyndie, thank you for helping Monte. The beautiful back drop in the east was made by Reta Hunt and I thank her for all her hard work. Diana Harrison made the beautiful scriptures that hung in the West. She does this year after year and they are gorgeous. A Grand Chapter doesn t just happen, it takes a lot of people to make it do so. It also takes people coming to participate in the legislation and the discussion. Thank you all again for making this Grand Chapter so wonderful. Star Love, Pete Nealis Can t believe it s over PGM Hi Everyone, The Historical Society is desperate for docents during the exhibit of Freemasonry. They especially need help on the first Thursday of each month because downtown opens up for longer hours and that includes the museums. The Payette Lodge has committed to being at the museum all day during first Thursdays but they leave at 5:00 pm. That means docents are needed for two shifts: from 5-7pm and from 7-9 pm on June 5, July 3 and August 7. I'm sure it would be okay to work in pairs. If you want to help out, please call Anne Schorzman at 334-2120 to volunteer. Now, of course, if you can't help on First Thursdays, there's still a need. Please call Anne Thanks everybody. Denise Hunt Basket Silent Auction Submitted by Andrea Storjohann A great, creative assortment of baskets were auctioned at Grand Chapter Session for the General Fund Endowment. A total 45 baskets were donated 30 Idaho Subordinate Chapters, Worthy Grand Patron LeRoy Austin, Grand Conductress Lucy Miller, the Nevada Grand Chapter (spearheaded by the Current and Past Grand Representatives of Idaho in Nevada) and monetary donation from one Subordinate Chapter. A total of $2,350.00 was donated through the auction. Thanks to the members of Shoshone and Clover Chapter for helping with the auction. Thanks to all who donated to the cause and for all who bid on baskets. A big thank you to Worthy Grand Matron Pete for taking me up on the idea and letting me spearhead a fund raiser for the General Fund Endowment.

Victorian Tea Party Lorraine #20 hosted an old fashioned Victorian Tea Party on June 22, 2008. There were savory and sweet items for sampling, and even trying to only take one of each, I found I had a hard time cleaning my plate (but managed to do it anyway). Some of the foods included homemade scotch shortbread, Devonshire cream, mini smoked chicken mushroom tarts, pomegranate walnut baklava, almond puffs, and salmon and lemon kisses. Of course there was quite a selection of teas to choose from, including standard black teas, green teas and even some Japanese teas, all served piping hot at the table. It was quite a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Thanks to Lorraine #20 for a fabulous tea party! Teri Nealis Mizpah Chapter #6 cordially invites you to the Official Visit of WGM Hazel Sutton, accompanied by WGP Jim Grant, Saturday, July 26, 2008 at the Masonic Temple, Horseshoe Bend, ID. Simply email it to the editor for publication at newsletter@idahooes.org Deadline for submissions is the 25th of each month.
