Thanksgiving Day, November 23rd, 9:00 a.m. Mass is at 9:00 with our pastor, Father Frank and our Children s Choir! Please bring some of the food that will be part of Thanksgiving Dinner to be blessed. Fr. Frank will invite children up to the altar to help him Bless the Food. We also have the parish custom of 1305 meals served blessing and distributing fresh Bread for your family!

Daily Mass Monday - Thursday, 9:00 a.m. Holyday of Obligation: 9:00 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. (may vary, check website) Eucharistic Adoration: Wednesday - 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession) Saturday, 4:00pm to 4:45pm. Please feel free to call Fr. Frank and make an appointment to celebrate the sacrament. Baptism We suggest that you contact us before your child is born! Call or email the Parish Center. Baptisms are scheduled monthly on the first Sunday throughout the year, and also the third Sunday from April to September. Page 8 Summary of Meeting, November 13, 2017 1. New Hymnals: They will be in the pews for the last Sunday of November, Christ the King. The prayer responses are inside the front cover (and the cards will be removed). Readings are also in the hymnals. The best way to participate in mass has always been to LISTEN to the readings proclaimed. The readings number will be on the hymn board for reference. The hymns will continue to be announced so that all can fully participate. 2. Christmas Decorating: The Third Sunday of Advent, December 17th, at 1:00 p.m. all are invited, especially families to help decorate the church (trees, wreaths, crèche). 3. Christmas Falls on Monday this year. This year may be a little confusing! The Fourth Sunday of Advent (Saturday, December 23 and Sunday, December 24) all are obliged to attend mass. Mass is on Saturday at 5:00 and on Sunday at 7:30 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. We are also obliged to attend mass (again) for Christmas. Christmas masses are on Christmas Eve, Sunday, December 24 at 4:00, 6:30 and 10pm. and on Christmas Day, December 25 at 9:15 and 11:15. As the Committee remarked, We need to go to mass TWICE. 4. Mass at Night, Christmas Eve (10 pm): We will host a special music program before mass (9:15 pm) that features brass quintet, bell choir, adult choir. Details of the program will be worked out by Liz MacNeill and Jim MacDougall.

Page 10 CHILDREN s CHRISTMAS PAGEANT December 9th, 7:00 pm in church. Rehearsal is Sunday, November 19th, is changed to 6:00 p.m. in church. Is there someone you love who has asked you about how to be part of the Catholic Church? The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is the process which helps people discern God s call to become Catholic, and to learn about the teachings and practices of the Church. Please contact Fr. Frank, our pastor, or Jane Oliva, Director of Faith Formation. Feel free to ask us anything! We are grateful for the families who have memorialized the white and green vestments. We are now able to offer this red chasuble should you want to donate it in memory of a loved one.

Page 12 Annual Thanksgiving Baskets and Turkey Tags We are so grateful to all of you who helped to transform our Parish Hall into a Thanksgiving Cornucopia this weekend. The Thanksgiving Baskets will be distributed today (Sunday, November 19). Please bring your boxes of food to the Parish Hall before 12 noon so that it will be available for your adopted family when they arrive. There will be people to help you unload your car. If you have never come into the Hall to see the incredible display of baskets particularly after the 11:15 Mass, stop over and see the fabulous Thanksgiving Feast your generosity has prepared. We will be providing over 150 families with meals this year. You are amazing. We hope you and your family have a happy and healthy Thanksgiving and may God bless you abundantly.
