The convenience and speed of vehicles and highways are outweighed by aggravating traffic tie-ups. Not to mention fruration of coping wi conruction, detours and speed bumps. We have so much to accomplish, we resent anying at slows us down. So much more would get done if everying would get our of our way. Ever wonder if God feels e same way? Working wi His eternal to do li of reaching e lo, comforting e grieving, healing e sick, does He sigh at e conant derailment of His plans? Worse yet, are we personally e speed bumps in His Highway? Peter faced at painful revelation in today s reading. Usually so quick to declare his fai, Peter planted his fear like a op sign on God s highway. It took Jesus rebuke to move Peter aside so at God s will could be accomplished. As we go rough is week let s ask ourselves: Have I become a speed bump or op sign for God s work? If so, let s take a giant ep of fai, right our of God s way.
