We will have granola bars and fruit in the morning for breakfast. No money needed. If you don t have a tent, Eli has 3 extra ones, or you can find a buddy to share a tent. Packing lists will come out soon! Great event, so invite your friends. PASTOR S DISCRETIONARY FUND Our Pastor s Discretionary Fund is not a regular budgeted area but is made possible through special earmarked gifts for helping others in need. Our Fund is currently very low and requests are steady. The needs will only increase as school has started and family budgets are spread thin. The next Beacon newsletter will be published on Thursday, September 15th. Deadline for all articles will be Friday, Sep 9th. Thank you in advance for your help. Our assistance this year includes helping families of our church and those in our community. The requests range from assisting with rent, utilities, diapers/ formula, and gasoline to doctor appointments. We do partner with Salvation Army & PACA when their funds permit and if the family hasn't received the maximum assistance. Any amount you can give to this fund will be used to share the love of Christ. You may make your gift payable to Lighthouse Church and in the memo put Pastor s Discretionary.

THE LIGHTHOUSE BEACON Page 6 OWNit365: One Story The OWNit365: One Story plan takes you through the key stories of the Bible in one year.
