Non-perishable food items can be left in the grocery carts. Checks can be made out to the TRF Food Shelf. PRAYER BLANKETS We are asking you to make prayer blankets for our seniors again this year. If there is a graduating senior that you would like to make a prayer blanket for, please sign up with Sarah. We still have lots of openings!! CAMP EMMAUS is having their Work/Clean Up Day on Saturday, May 5 beginning at 10 AM. Lunch will be served at 1 PM and the Rock Wall & Zip Line will be open after lunch for anyone (Grade 5 & up) who would like to try it. Please RSVP at 218-751-4208 if you plan to attend. Camp Emmaus is located near Menahga, MN. HELP OUR YOUTH & THEIR CHAPERONES get to New Orleans, LA for the National Youth Gathering next summer! There will be a kettle at the back of the church for you to donate money. Sarah & the Christian Ed/Youth Board are challenging YOU to give $1 every Sunday this school year. 2012 BROADCAST & WEBSITE LISTS are in the narthex. Broadcasts are $100; $50 for half. Website is $15. POP TABS are still being collected for the Ronald McDonald House. Tabs can be dropped off at the table near the office door. Thanks to those who have left tabs.

Come and enjoy food, fellowship & fun we look forward to seeing you. ST. HILAIRE SENIOR CENTER FUNDRAISER on Sunday, May 6 from 9 AM-1 PM at the center. Free will offering for scrambled eggs, sausage & pancakes. Proceeds towards meals served in the new addition of the center. HERITAGE COMMUNITY CENTER first Monday of the Month fundraiser serving supper from 5-6 PM. Minimum donation of $7 with all proceeds to the running of the Center. This is open to all ages. ANGELS NEEDED LSS Caregiver Support & Respite Program is looking for volunteers to provide short -term, non-medical care while caregivers get a break. CONFIRMATION PICTURES: Pictures will be this Wednesday, May 2 at 5:30 PM. Please be on time and bring your robe & dress like you will on Confirmation Sunday. RECEPTION for 9th graders and families will be Saturday, May 5 at 6:30 PM with rehearsal to follow. 8th graders will serve at this reception and it will be your last servant event for the school year! CONFIRMATION is Sunday, May 6 at the 8:30 service.

Acolytes: If you are signed up to acolyte at the 10:30 service for the rest of this year, you will be asked to help with the service by greeting & serving communion. Our 10:30 service is more contemporary and we don t need acolytes anymore. As long as you sign in and help with the service, it will count as an acolyte time. JR. HIGH Youth Group (JHYG) Next one: May 2, 3-5 PM. Sarah will pick you up from school then we ll come to church for fellowship, snacks, games & Bible study. SR. HIGH Youth Group (SHYG) Next one: May 2, 7:30-9 PM. Come hang out at church for fun and fellowship. NYG 2012! We have our April Getting Ready Meeting today, Sunday, April 29 (yes, I know that s the day after prom but remember I was at the post prom party too!). Our meeting will be at Redeemer at 2 PM. If you re going with this summer, you need to be at this meeting. CAMP EMMAUS BOUND THIS SUMMER!! These are the weeks that Sarah will be taking kids to camp. Keep in mind that there are other weeks you can go if these don t work for you. June 10-15: Elementary Classic (Grades 4-5) at Camp Emmaus June 10-15: Middle School Classic (Grades 6-7) at Camp Emmaus June 20-22: Elementary Mini (Grades 2-3) at Camp Emmaus June 22: 1/2 Pint Day (K-2nd Grade) at Camp Emmaus June 24-29: Jr. Hi Classic (Grades 8-9) at Camp Emmaus Registration forms are available outside of Sarah s office. You can fill them out and return them to Sarah with your deposit or you can register online at www.pathwaysbiblecamps.com. Zion Lutheran Church Women will again pay for 1/2 of each camper s registration fees.
