Introducing Today s Sermon By: Pastor Grace Jesus, Sowing the Seed SERVICE SCHEDULE Romans 10:17, 14 All Christians have been called to be missionaries. Just as Christ was sent into this world to bring the good news of the gospel, we have been commissioned to take that same Gospel to our world and our generation. The term "missionary" simply means "sent one." Several metaphorical terms are used for Christians in the New Testament that emphasize our calling and responsibility: Fishers of Men Sowers Witnesses Ambassadors There are many reasons or excuses why we may balk at fulfilling our roles as evangelists, but the only and ultimate failure of the sower, is to fail to sow. There is an inexhaustible storehouse filled with seed, so much so we are to sow everywhere! The life is in the seed and the harvest accomplished is by God who gives the increase (I Cor. 3:6). "Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God." However, Paul says, "...how shall they hear without a preacher?" (Romans 10:17, 14). Enter the human responsibility of fishing for men, or sowing the seed of the Word of God. Some fishermen are better than others. Some sowers are wiser than others. Although the catch or the harvest is not up to me, it is important that I give the Gospel a good chance to be heard. SUNDAY MORNING 8:30 & 10:30 A.M. Pastor Grace Why would anyone listen to me? SUNDAY EVENING 6:00 P.M. Pastor Grace Bible Study WEDNESDAY EVENING 7:00 P.M. Pastor Grace The Book of Mark Deacon's Meeting 8:45 P.M.

OUR CHURCH FAMILY Thank You Marilyn Dyjak Thank you, thank you, thank you! What else can I say to my wonderful church family? Thank you for the beautiful flowers and plants, and the delicious meals, the wonderful cards, and above all your heartfelt prayers. When I hit a couple of road blocks along the way, your prayers are what got me through. I still have a long recovery ahead, but I'm getting there. Thank you again for your love. MISSIONARY MINUTE Here are some Highlights from this week s missionary. Read it. It will take you a minute. March 2013 Well, March came in like a lion and went out like a lion too! The fields are still white, our yard is piled with snow. About three weeks ago, Jessie left in the van for an editing meeting, leaving Alexandria and I to shovel the drive. Alexandria and I were out for about an hour, cleared our long drive, and we all headed out in the car to rehearsal. In late afternoon we walked outside and the snow was still coming down by the bucketful. Jessie was stranded in town for three days. We had ourselves a real old fashioned blizzard. Meanwhile, Jessie was staying at our Ministry Center in L viv. Praise the Lord, he was within walking distance of a grocery store and there are mattresses, bedding and pillows at the MC. About noon on Saturday, two villagers came over collecting money for our road to be plowed, yea! Around 4:00 p.m. the plow went down the road. I called Jess who then ordered a taxi to bring him out to the village. Sunday the car remained buried in the garage. Around 8:00 a.m. Jess and I, Alexandria, and Tamara began shoveling. (I always wondered why Jessie kept so many shovels!) Four hours later the snow was piled three yards deep from our back wall and higher than Jessie s head. Hallelujah, we got the car out of the garage. It happened again the next weekend. Only this time our whole family was stranded in L viv. We were able to get home after only one night away. So ends our latest saga. We are very pleased to announce that lessons 19 and 20 are now being translated. These are the last lessons in our Genesis series which represents several years of work. They will be in print soon. During the month of March, 12 new students enrolled in the Bible correspondence course. Perhaps our most notable news is that we are registered. Joshua and Kelsie Steele, Denise Hutchinson and Jessie and I are now the bearers of an official Ukrainian registration folder. It gives us the legal right to be in Ukraine for one more year PRAISE THE LORD! Please continue to pray for the Day family as they begin the process in May. As always, we thank you for your prayer and support.
